This processor outperforms the i9 from last generation. No hassle great performance and low power requirements. Sold!

This is a monster of a CPU and a good value.

Keep in mind that even though Intel lists this as a 65 Watt TDP CPU, it will use much more power than that. TDP doesn't mean power use, but in most cases, it's close enough that TDP has become synonymous with power usage. With Intel's current CPUs the TDP is listed as PL1, which means all cores running at base frequency(no turbo). At full turbo boost, this CPU can pull over 200W(for a short time), and all core turbo will pull more than 65W, so keep this in mind for cooling & PSU choices. Still a great CPU.

Great processor but not so great price.

With water cooling and the right motherboard (asrock) you can get 4.8 turbo all cores. All in all good for games, great for productivity, okay for video editing. Great for photo editing. If Intel made all processors unlocked I could plainly give 5 stars.
