The difference this processor made in my gaming or just loading task... It is life changing lol Great cpu, had no issues booting with the Z690 MPG motherboard. It does run on the hot side, I am waiting for my H7 case and X73 Cooler to arrive to help fight that. I heard people mention under volting, I am not the best with fine tuning, regardless, I would recommend this cpu. It was a massive upgrade for me and I went from 50-70 fps in most games to 125-150 fps, waiting to upgrade my gpu from a 2070 to a 3 series. ( dont mind the wire mess, it was a quick build that is only temporary. )

I purchased this on sale for Black Friday as an upgrade from my i7-9700K. Paired with a Gigabyte Aorus Z790, RTX 3090 Ti, and 32GB DDR5 RAM, this is one beast of a computer. It doesn't fall far behind from the i9-13900K and runs under 80C with a 240mm AIO. After building up the computer, I haven't had any issues running games at 1440p Ultra settings. 4k is probably the ideal resolution for something like this.

A massive upgrade in performance compared to my 9700k. Paired with my 4090 FE, the 13700K runs like a dream in all games I throw at it! 13700k vs 13900k imo is a no brainer. If you're not really going to utilize the extra cores and cache that the 13900k will provide (and you don't have the cooling capabilities with your chosen CPU cooler) the 13700k proves to be a perfect gaming CPU (of course with the side benefit of being great for productivity work as well!). I am able to maintain a below 90 degree all core load by simply limiting PL1 and PL2 to 200W max (Not that I any games should ever utilize 100% of all cores at the same time). All in all, a very good CPU more than enough for gaming on PC.

it is a big upgrade over the 12900k even know some say its not. If you use ddr5 make sure not to go over 6800mhz as it can over load mem controller. I would stick with ddr5 6400. my. First chip I got burned out mem controller in a week running ddr5 7400. I had a r23 score of 31500@ stock msi z790 edge mb with about 1.4 volts, But the new chip running at stock ddr5 6400 I get a score of 30000 to 32000 with about 1.3volts in r23. Its a fast chip. I did start with a 13900k that I could not get cool enough for my liking with a custom 3- 360 rad water cooled setup. At stock I got a 42000 r23 score @ 1.45 volts no mater what I did with the ddr 5 7400. I am enjoying this chip and think its better then the 13900k for cooling, and gaming and streaming. Got my on sale for $409

I upgraded from a 12900KS to the 13900K and it was not a hug leap in performance,It runs hot but memory controller is better than 12 gen and the good thing is is you can upgrade to 13th gen on existing Z690 chipsets with a bios update which I have one of. If you are upgrading from an older cpu say 11th gen and back you will notice a big jump in performance. The 13900K trades blows with the 7950X but in majority of the test the 13900K edges it out, and you can use DDR4, or 5 memory with it, and it is also a little cheaper than the AMD cpu. I am happy with my purchase and it is good to see Intel, and AMD being competitive again with one another! Also, my 13900K and my 4090 great combo!

Vety good cpu recently picked this up and installed it on my pc and im getting great frames on fornite and mw2. Im geting 165fps on fornite(my monitor caps out at 165fps) and on mw2 140 to 160. The gpu i am currently running is a 6750xt so my gpu is most likely cuases my cpu to bottle neck. Looking forward to getting a 4080 sooner or later. Also it runs hot so i would recommend having a good cooler. Since i have a air cooler i had to turn down the performance down on the cpu.

I paired this with 64GB DDR5 6400, a 3080 Ti and a Crucial m.2 Gen4 and this basically completed the circle. I had a 12th Gen i7 (I know i screwed myself when I got the RAM) but obviously installation was a breeze and this thing shows no mercy. Whatever I run or play it's like meh no challenge for it. Buy it if you can, I'm definitely glad I did.

Purchased this on a price match and upgraded from a 12700k. Understand, this processor runs quite a bit warmer than even a 12700k, but it does perform better. Do you have good airflow and at least a 240mm AIO? Great. If you run Cinebench, you will throttle. If you want to game, it will just be a little warmer than your 12700k.

I managed to get an RTX 4090, so I decided to upgrade afew more components. Upgraded from the i5-13600k to this i7-13700k for the 2 extra P-cores. If I take into account the resale value of my 3 month old (Pristine) i-5, this was worth it IMO. The i7 13th gen runs a little hotter, but it is not noticeable with my setup. I think it will also add some longevity to my build, but who knows? I also have an h150i elite Cappellix XT AIO cooling this sucker. (Hence the photo) If you are on the fence, go for it for those 2 extra P-cores. Otherwise, the i5-13600k is a fantastic CPU in its own right.

Great CPU for the price. Decided to save a little bit instead of getting the i9 and I'm not disappointed. I used to have an i9 10900k and this over perform (of course, is the 13th Gen) the i9. For sure the i9 13th would be better but I don't see the reason o spending more.

I bought a black friday combo deal with a 13700k, a MSI motherboard, and 32gb Corsair memory for $650. I’m pretty happy with those components! Runs all my games smoothly and faster than the 11700k build I had before.

For the last 5 year I was (unfortunately) rocking an i7-8700 that I was constantly worrying about overheating even though I wasn't pushing my pc to the max since I knew it wouldn't handle it well. Finally I was able to afford an upgrade! I was strongly debating on saving up a little longer for the 14th Gen, but I'm MORE than happy with this 13th i7! It's been performing even better than people said it did online wo I'm throughly impressed, technology these days is just getting better and better!

Massive upgrade from a 10700k, purchased because my 40 series GPU was being bottlenecked and this solved all issues. Runs fairly hot so I suggest applying a slight undervolt.

Great performance, not too bad on the temps. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a modern i7 tier CPU. I have a 360mm AIO and run with mid 30s Celsius idle and mid 60s under load.

Best upgrade I have done in a long time, last pc I built was with intels 8th gen i7 which was on its last leg. Running dual 4K monitors with multiple apps running at the same time I never hit over 24% cpu usage compared to intels 8th gen i7 which would always run at 60-80% with the same systems running.

Great CPU for gaming. I picked it up for $370, which is a great deal. I paired it with a 4090 FE that I got here as well to pack into my itx build. Performance is comparable to the 7800X3D when gaming in 4k which is what I like to game on. Though it does consume more power than the 7800X3D ($440 current price at time of this review), at sale, the i7-13700k is much better purchase; irregardless what reviewers say. I am quite happy with it.

Firstly i want to start by saying thermals at least in my experience isn’t that bad at all, i idle between 23c and 30c, although im runni mf a thermal grizzly cpu bracket and good thermal paste from corsair. Performance is amazing in games and for creating videography and amongst other things it runs it perfectly. Definitely recommend this clu for high end builds.
