Intel i9 ready to overclock

Packaged in a ridiculous plastic "thing" but otherwise quality intel multi-core that really cranks.

That being said every chip is different and overall the 9900k at stock frequencies still has been a great upgrade from my 6600K

One of the best for gaming

Immediately OC’d it to 5.1ghz. Very stable OC with a 5236 Cinebench R20 score with temperatures peaking at 80° But hovering around 77° average. Handles everything I throw at it with ease. Runs in the 50s and 60s when gaming on Modern Warfare with all settings maxed. Very happy with silicone quality and the performance of this chip.

Good speed, and expensive

But I’m not really seeing it outperform my old processor, a core i7, 8800K, that much. Perhaps I’m just not using the processor to my potential. An upgrade nonetheless.
