I needed to build a new computer since my last build was back in 2005. LOL. The Intel Core i9-9900K is a pretty fast processor and my new computer blows away my old computers in regards to speed and multitasking.

First PC build and this CPU is where it's at. It's worked amazingly with just the integrated overclocking. I havent tried to push it any further, because every game I've played hasn't pushed it. Running a noctua CPU cooler and typically my temps stay under 60.

Fast processor, great for gaming! Love it so far.

First I was a bit hesitant to buy this cpu because I heard about the heat issues.But paired with my 280mm corsair waterloop, it runs at 38 Celsius at idle and in mid 50s underload.On older games like Resident Evil 7 it runs between 39 Celsius and 43 degrees c.

I had the core i5 in my PC and had to instantly upgrade after I did my research I decided to go with this processor and it does a wonderful job! I am very satisfied! Was easy to install myself as well!! I recommend

The I9-9900k is definitely a beast of a processor. It is worth the money if you have a little extra cash to spend but the I7-9700k is a cheaper option for around the same performance

Its good if your upgrading the cpu, but id recommend spending for the 10900 instead if you're doing a fresh board and/or build. It was a noticeable difference from my i7, but in the end i plopped in a new mobo and the 10900k, which was even more noticeable

Wow wow wow, I can't say it enough! This i9 processor from Intel is just about as good as you could ever get. It's lightening fast and works amazingly! I did need to buy a cooling system for it as it heats very quickly, as expected, so do keep that in mind, but seriously, this baby will have you saying WOW!!

Coming from a 9600k, it’s a worthy upgrade. Get it for $249, never regret it. I can play high refresh rate games at more consistent fps, doesn’t get hotter than 9600k except when under full load. Undervolted mine and ocd a tiny bit. Got a lucky bin :)

The 9900k is the processor to get. Overclockable, Hyper-Threading, and affordable (for me anyway, unlike the 'X' or 'XE' line of processors). I have this paired with 32GB of Corsair Pro 3200mhz RGB RAM and an EVGA 2080ti FTW3 graphics card, and what a beast my machine is. Highly recommend this processor.

Great purchase, nice upgrade from i7 to the i9. I decided keep same MB Z370 and upgrade the CPU to i9 and add the Intel Optane memory. I also increased RAM to 64mb.. I am using the D15 Noctua cooler. Everything is running great. Nice, cool and quick...

This is still a great cpu, even after two years of use. My little bro had a z390 mobo, so he upgraded to the 9900k instead of the new generation of AMD processors. For gaming, 9900k is still more than plenty to push high frames.

Worth every penny! The power on this thing is insane. The specs are true to point in my opinion. Benchmarks and other tests have delivered great results. I use my pc for heavy gaming and video editing with runs really heavy when rendering

I purchased the I9 9900K so that I could easily game stream and watch videos at the same time without getting any sort of issue with computing power. It is holding well with the 2070 Super I'm using and would absolutely suggest that if you can afford it, go for it

Love this CPU! Gives you similar performance to the i7-10700k. Reliable and fast! If you can get a good deal on a z390 board go for it. Otherwise get a 10700k and have a longer upgrade path.

I originally had an intel i5 9600k. I noticed my cpu usage was from 98% to 100%. So I upgraded to this beast with an auto turbo of 4.8 GHz (it can go higher). Now I get like 60% usage while playing games and my computer is way more stable.

If your goal is to play games at high FPS this is a great processor however if your trying to multi process I suggest going amd for a better value. I don’t do that very often though so this processor does the job

So I have always switched around with AMD and Intel but as far as IPC Intel will always be the clear cut winner! I upgraded from a 8700k and the performance gain was worth it! Clearly the i9-9900k is the best processor for gaming and is just awesome.

I love this CPU. It is super fast. I wondered if going from an i5 9600K to this i9 would be worth it, but it totally is. Very fast and power efficient. I use it with a Corsair H60 water cooler.

Amazing processor. Runs really well, even in today's age. If you can get a good price for this, pretty solid. Make sure you have a solid CPU cooler if overclocking though
