Super powerful CPU, slotted right into my Z390 board with no issues. Runs a little hot even with a 280mm radiator AIO Liquid cooler, but thats to be expected with 16 threads that can turbo to 5GHZ.

This beauty is an absolute unit. Recently upgraded from the i7 and it's worth every penny. 4k gaming and streaming like a boss. I've seen people say it can get hot....I paired mine with a Corsair h100i cooler and I haven't seen it over 55C.

Needed something to balance out with my 2080 to and my old CPU wasn't cutting it. Wanted a bit of future proofing so splurged and got this. Don't regret it! This thing hasn't even flinched at everything I've thrown at.

It was a great CPU you can buy. There are better CPUs now but because this cpu is cheaper than before, I might want to get this one. And you need a good cpu cooler.

Fantastic processor. I'm using it for Chia mining and combined with a Noctua tower air cooler it's doing wonderful. Temps are holding at 65-70c when the CPU is pegged at 100% usage.

Depends on what you use your computer for... but for me, the answer is: everything. So this is hands down the best choice.

i assembled a new gaming pc and chose this one. might as well get the fastest cpu so i dont have to upgrade it for few years. paired with gigabyte z390 aorus ultra, 64gb gskills ram, evga rtx 2070 black ed, 1tb m.2, 8tb black hdd.

Compared to my i5 of course this is a great upgrade! I have noticed that my desktop runs smoother and no games stutter anympre when loading. Perfection achieved for my usage!

I bought this and never have to regret, if you are looking for great deal and durable and best performance processes, this is the right one for you.

This time I got a winner! My old 9900K died and I didnt want to bother buying a new mobo. Runs great and I have no complaints at all. You also get a 3 year warranty. New Intel K chips only seem to be 1 year.

With 10th gen being out, you can get comparable or better performance with the 10700k, but will need a newer motherboard. Wait for this to be about $400 or less if you're going to buy Summer 2020 or later

I9 great processor, easy to install and throughput is amazing, always been an intel fan and will remain one, unparalleled functioning for high speed processing

This thing is fast. I didn't think it'd be that great of an improvement over my 6700K, but, I was wrong. Cool box, too. No heatsink, but if you're running something like this you probably have that ironed out already.

About as good as it gets for speed and Power. Can be over clocked, but I wont, its fast enough to not worry. Will probably after it gets older to keep up with newer software and hard ware

I bought this processor for the PC that my son was building. The PC is done and runs great and very fast. The i9 may be more than some people need but I think it was well worth the price, especially since it was on sale.

Efficient and fast! An excellent choice. I use this with rendering and the speed has increased dramatically as well as general gaming usage.

Built a new PC using this processor and am very satisfied with the results. Very fast speeds with the other components I purchased to build the new machine. Highly recommend for anyone building a new PC.

The processor seems to be much faster than my previous one, the AMD FX-8350. My main issue is, that even though it is faster, it still isn't enough to do some things I had planned. I believed it to be a bottlenecked processor, however it would appear I must also upgrade the gfx card. The CPU also runs a bit hotter than my last one, using a Corsair H55 liquid cooler. Haven't used it long enough to really be able to fully see how hot it runs, but so far it is warmer.

8 cores 16 with hyper threading and dedicated 5mhz when you need it. I've been running docker, Virtual Box, and playing 1 or 2 games all at the same time. No slowdown. So happy with this purchase.
