This guy was ill prepared for his little life ending adventure. Very disappointing movie. Don't waste your time.

Quit depressing had hoped it would have some moral value but couldn't find any

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. It was so incredible. Everything in this movie made me want to appreciate life and live it to my fullest. As lame as that sounds, its so true and ull see why when u check this movie. Ive watched it so many times already and it never gets old and everytime i watch this i feel like going to Alaska. There was nothing wrong with this movie at all, the ending was really sad though. Oh well its a true story and that makes this movie even better. You have to definately see this. You will enjoy this wonderful movie!!!

Nominated for "2 Oscars," Into the Wild is a great film. This film has a story that's both intellectual and riveting. I believe that "Into the Wild" is such a great film because it tells a story that is relatable on all levels. It follows the character of Chris McCandless (Emile Hirsch) on an adventure to Alaska to live in the wilderness, all the while, this adventure is a journey of self discovery. Overall, the acting is superb and the cinematography is great. As any other movie on Blu-Ray, this one looks amazing. I highly recommend this film to be added to your must-see list of movies. p.s. Oh yeah, everyone who enjoys Kristen Stewart in "Twilight" she also has a small role in this film. Though this was made in 2007, I still believe she's a great actress of my generation.

I did not know what the movie was nor had I heard about it, but after reading a synopsis and seeing that it was written and directed by Sean Penn I bought it anyway. I was not disappointed. It is a great story that leads you on a young mans adventure of self discovery and awareness. It is a great film and not your everyday plot. This film is made up of many different flavors and holds your interest up until the very end-and what an end! By the way, big-ups to Kristen Stewart who was still undiscovered in this movie.

This movie really is a classic that unfortunately has not really been widley advertised or seen. I had to reccomend it to many friends and they really enjoyed it. The acting is fantastic with Emile Hirsch deserving an Oscars nomination for best actor and Eddie Vedder derserving a nomination for best original song. Sean Penn really brings that magic, wonder, and intensity of Chris McCandless' adventure to life. I cannot reccomend this movie any more than that.

Amazing movie about a young mans journey out of main stream society in search of spiritual enlightenment. This movie will affect you on many levels; there are laughs, tears, and thought provoking moments throughout the movie. Sean Penn directed this masterpiece and did this true story the justice it deserves. I cannot recommend this movie enough, even if it is outside your normal genre of films, don’t miss this one.

This is one of the best movies i have ever had the pleasure to see and the eddie vedder soundtrack goes perfectly with this movie. The shots of the wilderness and the performance leaves everyone breathless and without a dry eye and a yearning to explore our world. Everyone should see this masterpiece.

This was one of the greatest movies ive seen in a while and so awesome. It makes you wanna go to Alaska and see the things that he saw. I'm mad that this movie didn't really make it that big. Everyone should see this incredible movie. It had a sad ending but still so great. I would love to travel the country and experience everything that he went through. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

This was my favorite movie of 2007. It was a shame that the Oscars ignored such a great movie, but don't make the same mistake as the academy. Everyone should watch this movie at least once. Chris McCandless was such an interesting person, even if you don't agree with what he did, the movie will get you thinking about the things that are important in your life.

I thought that this was one of the most beautiful films I have seen. Emile Hirsch did an amazing job of portraying Chris McCandless. I read the book and this film made me appreciate this story so much more. The film was made perfectly, especially the thoughtful, vivid cinemetography. A definite film to watch!

This movie is one of a kind that is different from what anybody has seen in recent history. Not only is it entertaining, but it gives you a new appreciation of life and a new outlook for it. Everyone has felt the way this kid did at one point in their life. A definite must watch and see movie.

"Into the Wild" is one of the best movies I have ever seen. If you like adventure, individualism, nobility, and honesty, you'll be moved by this film. And no matter how 'tough' you think you are, it will make you cry.

It's a great movie about a lost soul who figures out what his life is about too late. Great story that hold mostly true to the book of the same title by Jon Krakauer. Beautiful cinematography of Alaska,this is one you should see.

This is a trually amazing film. I would recommend this one to anyone that wants to get away. Anyone who ever dreamed of the freedom of the road. Its been a long time sense a movie moved me the way this film does. It's a must see.
