I had a problem with the software only; it kept repeating and skipping some parts, while the turntable played well. I even tried downloading the software from the web site and I still had a hard time converting the music.

This was the most economical turntable available from Best Buy at the time I bought it. I was looking for an inexpensive addition to my stereo. I haven’t needed the usb or digital file converter feature so I can’t say much about it. As a simple component turntable, it’s just fine.

Very easy to use. It's so great to hear my golden oldies, again. Everything is included. I easily converted my LPs to discs. Very pleased!

I bought this turntable for the ability to play 78 RPM records. Unfortunately, you need a special stylus to play the 78 RPM records. The Best Buy website did not state that requirement and the stylus is not an item available through Best Buy. It has been an ordeal to order one from ION Audio and I am still not sure that I will get one. They were send me a confirming email of my order and 5 days later no email.

Can not recommend this product. Worked fine out of the box, however after I did not use for a month or so, I placed an album on the deck and the speed was off. I tried to adjust per instructions then the motor died. Waste of money.

While the product description had indicated there were built-in speakers, in looking at the turntable, we didn't see any speakers so we returned the item rather than spend additional money to buy speakers.

Questionable Speakers

The turntable works good so far; I have only recorded 2 albums. The software does separate the tracks, but if the track separation on the records is not distinct the result in the software is wrong, and, so far, I haven't found a way to manually correct the song descriptions; I might need to re-record and manually provide track separation. As for built-in speakers, I don't think there are any; you must rely on the computer speakers during conversion. If you just want to play records you can connect to your music system using the RCA jacks. Overall, I am a little disappointed, but I believe it is consistent with the price and I would recommend it if you don't want to spend much.

Although the description and specifications tabs indicate this product comes with built in speakers; I can assure you it does not! Otherwise the turntable works great!
