The Ion Audio LP Digital Conversion Turntable is very useful for playing and archiving 45 and 33 rpm vinyl recordings. The turntable is easy to connect to a laptop or desktop computer. Its cost is relatively inexpensive, and it may be easily stored away when not in use.

This turntable does everything as advertised. however their are a couple of things you should be aware of before using this product. first off contact support for the updated version of it's software (they will send you via email a zip file of the update) don't install the disc that comes with the turntable. the next you'll notice is the USB cable that comes with the product is not very long unless you plan too place the turntable right next to your computer. I found a 6ft cable works good and gives you room to maneuver the turntable. now the most important thing ,when setting up an connecting to a power source DONT connect it to an input that amplifies Ex. phono input on an amp. connect it to a CD or AUX input. or else you'll ruin your equipment. now your ready to transfer your vinyl Lp and 45's . one word of caution here their are two settings on this turntable auto stop and on-off when transferring older LP's most of them have 6 songs on each side. this is ok for auto stop. however if your playing vinyl with more than 6 songs or the tracks on the vinyl are long I suggest you use the on -off mode so the turntable won't shut off. now that being said pay attention too what your doing don't just remove the record and walk away because the turntable will run until you shut it off manually. the software is excellent it places your music in the format you select. and into the folders you select. the quality is grate. assuming your vinyl is in good condition. I found the support for this product great the answered my call right away (no waiting)

I was looking for an expensive solution to salvage our vinyl and make the albums more accessible for Ipod and cd transfers. The turntable provides a simple and effective method to copy the albums onto my laptop for future downloading. The turntable is what it is, not a top-end device but effective enough for the project. My only other issue is in the ability to properly label the albums/songs into my HP - for some reason some category headers on the EZ software are not retained in my HP files, causing an extra step in the storing process. But overall, a very cost-effective solution to the project.

I was really doubtful that I could actually convert my vinyl collection to digital but decided to give it a try. To my surprise the setup was easy & I started the conversion immediately. I've gone through one crate of LPs so far and have had no problems. I'm a believer!!

I have been eagerly dubbing my LPs over to my Mac so I can download them to my iPhone 6+, but I noticed two things immediately that I feel need to be added or fixed.
The addition is a pause button, so I can be sure the recording has stopped when I flip the LP over from side one to side two. This will same a little recording time, but, more importantly, it will allow me to set the needle down before resuming recording. This will eliminate the scratching noise the needle makes when it first hits the LP.
The fix is that, despite having the music automatically separated into tracks, when I go to enter the song titles there aren't enough tracks available. The instructions say to hit the button for more tracks, but I cannot find the button and it isn't listed in the online manuals.

This turntable filled the need that I was looking for, price range affordable & easy to use. I also like the fact that I can hook it up to my computer & record. I've got it hooked up to Bose speakers & delivers great sound.

This product was easy enough to set up out of the box. I set everything up (I wish they would supply a longer USB cable), was all ready to start using my new turntable, had one of my old albums dusted off and ready to go... I put the cd in to download the software, and the cd does not play! My cd player does not even recognize that a cd is in the computer! I tried a different cd and it worked, so it's not my player. I don't know if it's a bad cd or if it's a special cd that doesn't play on my player.

This turntable is really easy to use when importing files to my Mac. It's not the most balanced turntable I've ever seen, but the quality is very good. I would recommend this model for importing files.

My wife bought me this unit for Christmas as I have a lot of 45's I wanted to convert. It is real simple to operate and will put your records in your computer. It does converts only to .wav format, not mp3. You have to find an mp3 converter such as the one in I-Tunes. Also I had trouble fitting some records onto the 45 adapter. I used the one from my Technics phonograph and had no more trouble. I have done quite a few records and have had no trouble with the tone arm as I have read in other reviews. I wish there was a way to eliminate the needle pop with this but I can live with it. All in all it is a very good unit.

I purchased this to play some old records and to also get my son into newer vinyl albums that he likes. I was very surprised at the sound quality that this gives. The mp3 conversion software is really easy to use, I am on a Mac and makes it easy to integrate into iTunes. The down side is that the software doesn't allow for much adjustment in sound. Overall, this was a great purchase for the price.

Works great! I wish that the software was still set up to put the music directly into iTunes. Once you learn how to import the music into iTunes the process is a piece of cake.

I bought this record player to get back into vinyl. I wanted something that could convert my old records to mp3 files. This player has great sound and has a very simple, easy to use conversion software to convert directly into iTunes. I would highly recommend this product.

sounds great - but I had to use an rca grounding filter... there is not a ground wire to attach to your phono input if you have that preamp as an option on your receiver. Put it into a tape or CD input. While for the price it sounds great, you do need to tweeks some stuff to make that happen. The design is pretty slick, more contemporary design than others available; however, the arm transfer is kinda junk. I haven't used the digital recording aspect yet, but I think that might be a nice perk.

We are new to the LP scene so this player was right up our ally. It doesn't have auto reset but the other features make up for that since we are beginning out LP collection. This player wont last us forever but at the price point it is perfect.

Perfect record player for any music enthusiasts. It does require your own speakers, but it sounds 10x better than one with built-in speakers would. Easy to use, and putting the lid on is the only assembly required. The husband loves it!

This is one electronics product that has exceeded my expectations. Very easy to set up and connect to my laptop. The accompanying software loaded without problem to my Windows 10 computer and was easy to use. It is wonderful to be able to listen to our old albums again. It was a nice bonus to find I could attach a cassette tape player to digitize those tapes as well.
