Got this at a great price 35.00 The player itself is as advertised and simple to use. Downloaded my Pink Floyd albums right away and have them on my phone to listen. very happy!!

I can play my old records

It does not lower on its own when you use the lever. Other than that is works fine. I you are into playing albums seriously you may want to consider a more expensive model. For the price it is ok.

Okay, but could there be better options?

Also seems to skip quite often even on records that don't skip on traditional turntable.
