Was looking for turntable to get started quickly and transfer to digital audio. Poor quality Purchased and stylus was broken. Returned - got new one and guess what? Arm for stylus was broken. Neither box was damaged - poor quality control.

Purchased this on sale to record our old albums so we could put some music on our iPods. Haven't done that yet but have played some albums through our soundbar. Things I did not realize before buying is...the arm stays on the record when it's done playing and either the turntable can continue to rotate or just stop. When the arm is raised and swung to the right it doesn't seem to go down to the resting place, you have to push it down. One complaint...the stylus broke off after a few uses and the diamond tip was gone! Didn't know it was gone and tried to play a record and it was horrible sounding. Wrote to ION about the problem and never got a response from them. The replacement cartridge is $21 from ION and not happy that we had to buy one after only listening to five albums.

I am now able to put my vinyl (records) on a DVD. It is very easy to use. If you have some records that you would like to put on a DVD, this is the answer!

This unit replaces a similar unit from the same manufacture that "died" after two years. Turntable speed is fairly well regulated with some "wow", which may not be objectionable depending on your taste. Cartridge is more vibration-sensative than the older unit. Blowing on the record to remove dust gets picked up by it. It tends to pick up minimum rumble which isn't objectionable though there really shouldn't be any at all. Cartridge output lacks "bottom" but isn't anything you can't add back your Equalizer. Tone arm tracks true. Don't expect the performance of a $500 turntable, but it is most definitely worth the money.

I got this unit for a good price. The sound is not premium but does the job, Didn't want to spend hundreds for a player that I use once in a while . Not disappointed .

Record player works great, have not tried the USB option to transfer records to CD, the lid is a little close to the arm when resting and will not close unless resting in the right spot

Disappointed with software.Unable to pause when recording.Package was misleading shows cassette recorder on the box but it does not come with it. Recorded an album but only two songs actually recorded. It's not bad if you only want to listen to your albums.

I bought the turntable on clearance. I have a analog-to-digital converter that I have used in the past that has a little better software. I actually bought the ION to run through my desktop system in my office. I'll probably use it to capture a track or two from old vinyl I pick up at flea markets.

This USB turntable works great for converting LP's to digital. Could be heaver and have better on off and other controls on front. But it gets the job done. Great for the price

Only draw back is if not connecting to a computer the connection cable is a little short if you don't have a spot that is high enough for the lid to go up.
