Great product to convert videocam and VCR tapes to CD to watch. As technology for watching VCRs becomes obsolete it's important to convert these now. Daughter's performances, Christmas programs she still loves to watch - want to save these.

Finally a conversion device that just works! Installed on windows10 without any issue. Used the dated but fully functional software and converted 50+ hi-8 tapes for the family over to digital format for safe keeping.

Does the job I wanted it to do. I wanted something to let me do my videos and this does it.

Since there are no longer firewire not too many other options to encode live video

We were looking for a product that can help with connecting the video camera that we have that we use for our church services and instead of recording the service on a dvd, we wanted to transfer it to the harddrive of a computer. My brother in law and I saw this product at Best Buy and brought it. So far it works great. No issues except that when we are burning the service on to a dvd. That process takes about 20 minutes to do. That's the only issue I have.

I used this device to convert some old HI8 tapes from the original video recorder to my computer. It was not expensive, and worked great.

Just what I needed. Easy to use. Solvedy all of my issues.

Would give it 5 stars except the included video editor spends all its time trying to sell you an upgrade. Otherwise, it is a good product.

Works great to convert home videos to dvd... Would recommend to everyone to use...

I haven't really done much with it yet, just watch a couple videos on my computer. I'll be using it soon to record some of the video footage of my kids when they were younger.

This was a replacement of a similar device I had been using for years. Simple installation and configuration, it's been doing the job out of the box. I don't use the software that come with it for editing since I already have a product (Rocio) I'm already familiar with. Nevertheless, this does the job exactly as desired.

I had to fool around with some of the settings but once you have the right ones it just keeps on as long as you need it to. It does 640x480 and a bit bigger would have been nice but over all it does a nice job. I had a few things I didn't want to loose that were recorded on VHS tapes. Things that are irreplaceable anywhere. How so? For you Navy types out there, my Chiefs initiation, THAT irreplaceable. Would I recommend it? Yes and I already have.

The company did help when I called. but didn't really set up easy. I works to a certain extent, but not really easy to use.

I have only used it one time so far and it worked as expected. Be sure to register as that will allow you to take on line courses as the software isn't the easiest to use. Which is why I gave it a 4.

I needed to get digital video into utube format and this item worked with a minimum of effort. I can now stream church services to utube for all to see.

This is a great way to get your family videos onto your computer. It works and it's easy to use.
