Soooooooo, this is how a cellphone holder (especially considering that it isn't permanently attached to anything) should be made - always. It is sturdy and made of quality plastics and mechanisms. The push-button, spring loaded clamping arms are a BRILLIANT touch that will ensure a snug hold on ANY phone for the life of the holder. Also, it eliminates the annoying nature of "adjustable" arms that you size to your phone (that never really secure your phone, just cradle it - sometimes too tightly to get in and out with one hand). It is well worth the price - which is competitive with most other popular holders at major electronics stores. It will not work with anything but smartphones - no large tablets. I use mine with a Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine and the arms open probably an additional 1/2" beyond my phone's width P.S. admit it, my summary is the best thing you read all day!

Having an Samsung Galaxy Note 9, I needed a easy to use cell phone holder. I work for a medical courier service delivering samples to labs, hospitals, etc... Never knowing where I'm delivering to, I need to use a flexible holder for my phone to make use of the Gmaps. This holder is excellent for this purpose making my use of the maps simple. First, I decided to mount it on my dashboard using the supplied gel pad (you can also vent mount it if you wish.) Everything you need to mount it either way is provided. Once mounted, the holder can easily be turned to have your phone vertical or horizontal. Next, a simple push of the phone against the back of the holder, securely locks your phone in place. The holder can then be easily adjusted to tilt/move your phone to whatever angle you wish. When you are finished with the use, a push of the buttons on each side of the phone is all that is needed to release it. The holder is made of durable materials and should last a long time without problems. I highly recommend it.

I didn't want a magnet mount or any mount that I had to attach something to my phone or remove my case. I searched for the 'right' dashboard mount. Everyone who gets in my car comments on the sturdy and easy to use holder. The phone snaps into place and releases with one hand. Anyone's phone fits in the mount so if something else wants their phone mounted for directions, they can just pop their phone in the holder. It swivels and adjusts easily. I attach it to my dashboard by using the suction cup. I also tested it on the windshield with equal success.

This review bears in mind that I prefer dash mounts because while the suction cup from both windowshield and dash mounts over time can lose grip, the anchor point on a dash mount is underneath the phone. I prefer them over vent mounts because I do not want to block the vent. Your judgement may differ if you prefer a different mechanism. I came to buy the product after checking a 2019 review from carbible.com with it being listed as the top product. As for suction cup performance, it maintained its grip for 8 months and was able to renew it by following the included directions. Integrity could be a factor of average temperature throughout the year (we have 6 months of hot weather with highs near 85f, 3 months of colder weather with highs near 40-50f and a month of moderate highs) and user manipulation of the telescopic arm. This is a neat feature of the dash mount not available with other products and allows for greater reachability to phone - I set my arm at a specific length and never manipulated again. In addition, there is a two tab loading mechanism and a one button release mechanism, both that allow operation with one hand. The base of the product is very sturdy. To maintain sturdiness of the arm, I set the angle screw and the extender screw to position the face in the location that I desired and left them alone. In the process, I did reposition the joints a few times until I got a happy result and the product sturdiness withstood this. However, I would recommend not to do this excessively over several months to prevent wear and tear on the joints. There is a Qi enabled version of this mount, but I did not buy it because I have queried the experience of others who mentioned that the Qi version took excessively longer to charge the phone as compared to the straight charging cord and this was not suitable for 30-60 minute drives (not close to 10 percentage points in half hour). All in all, this is a good product in as far as dash mount options are concerned and worth the higher price compared to the cheaper alternatives.

After literally fighting with my former air vent mounted cell phone holder every time I tried to open the grips in order to seat it, I selected this product based on its ease with opening the grips. It looks a little bulky and has a lot of knobs and levers to tighten but I'm satisfied with its functionality so far. When I first mounted it I didn't realize how important it is to depress the suction when you stick the holder to the pad that sticks to your dashboard. How important is it? Well the apparatus toppled over for the first 3 attempts to use it. Be careful!!! The pad unstuck and the mount and phone and all fell to the floor. Hmmmmm!!! The instructions don't really emphasize the requirement to depress (push in) the suction while you're marrying the 2 pieces together. But in examining the piece I noticed that the words "super suction" and noticed the give when pushed...so on the next attempt I pushed down (on suction area) while marrying the sticky sides together. It hasn't fallen again since (7 days so far).

I’ve used 2 prior car mounts for the same phone. This one is so far ahead of the others that it isn’t even fair to call them competitors as this mount is in a league all its own. The first one kept falling off the windshield until the holder itself broke. The second was a “sticky” mount that would constantly drop the phone. These problems and many more have been completely solved by the iOttie. First, it clings to the windshield like it’s life depends on it. Then you have what has got to be the simplest way of mounting the phone to it that I’ve ever seen or have heard of. There is a large “button” on the unit that when you set the phone in place thereby activating this button the whole unit closes up around the phone and holds on to it with a vise grip that doesn’t let the phone move at all. There are even supports on the bottom that prevents the chance of the phone from sliding out from underneath. I have been using this mount a lot and have had not one single issue with it. It is truely a fantastic product. If you want a mount that will hold your phone securely look no further, this is the one for you.

I love this cell phone holder. I use it everyday when I drive, it's super sturdy and easy-to-use. It's very good quality for not a lot of money and I would definitely recommend anyone to buy it as it makes using Google Maps a breeze when driving. I have mine mounted to my windshield and I haven't had to adjust it once since I put it up. Its suction is really strong.

I'm a road warrior and travel constantly. I used a vent mount devise for a couple years and it was sufficient but at times I couldn't see the screen when the sun was just right. I bought the iOttie and found it to be perfect for my needs. I mounted mine on the dash. The cup is designed to stick to almost anything and is super secure. It has multiple adjustments so you can get it just right and what I really like is when you're ready to mount your phone you just one handed push the two sidebars in with thumb and forefinger and it locks fully open. Then you set your phone bottom 1st and push it toward the iOttie logo and it snaps your phone secure in place. When you're ready to remove your phone you just press the two sidebars and it locks open again so I really like the one handed operation of the mount. I've only been using this for a couple weeks and hope it holds up but would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Before this one, I purchased a cheaper version from another retailer, boy do I regret it. I like that the device closes around your phone the minute it touches the switch. It's truly a one handed device. The strength of the suction is amazing, definitely won't fall off of the window. Provides 2 different areas where you can angle the device to fit your needs.

This mount works quite well. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it mounts with ease and stays in place even when passing over the worst of bumps in the road. Holds very well, and has gone through two cars with me. Easy to remove and remount, just run the adhesive under hot water and then mount again!

Had this for half a year. It was easy to install and continues to work well, adhering to where we have positioned it. The stand works well, allowing you to adjust your phone position as needed. The grips expand and contract so it easily holds any type of phone. Happy with this purchase!

I am very impressed with this phone holder. I use it for the iPhone X and it works perfectly. Easy to put in, it closes automatically and securely. Easy to take out. Comes with a disk to affix to use to mount but I did not use it. The suction cup base is very secure on our 2018 Pathfinder. Highly recommend!

There are a lot of options out there for a mobile car phone mount. I wasn't sure which one to buy but this turned out to be the right choice. Cost effective, quality manufacturing. Easy to use. Long lasting! Especially love how it mounts to the main dashboard with ease.

After my old phone mount broke, I went looking for a replacement. I wanted something a bit more sturdy as my last one only lasted about 4 months. I have had this one for a couple weeks and it is efficient and easy to use. Much better hold and much more range of motion.

The value for what the Easy One Touch 4 offers is much better than other mounts I experienced. The ease of use for the mount is great too. It is easy to mount and dismount. Also, it already come assembled except for the cell phone holder. Adding the cell phone holder is simple. Even more, the multiple parts can be adjusted to fit your car and placement. Also, the mount has extension arm for additional placement flexibility to match the portrait and landscape modes of the cell phone holder. The iOttie Easy One Touch 4 mount is a must buy for safe and convenient cell phone access.

I was worried that this might not hold tight enough, but if very secure and holds the phone even over bumpy roads. Fully adjustable for any angle and has a quick release and an automatic hold when the phone is placed on it. Highly recommend.

I mounted this thing in the spring. And haven't had to remount it since. It has this ultra tacky stuff on the suction cup that keeps it stuck for a while. The springs are also reversed so that they release and lock the phone into place when you set the phone in the holder.

I've used a few cheaper mounts from Amazon over the years and they've done well for a while. However, when my last on broke, I had a BestBuy gift card, so I decided to give this a try. It's a bit more expensive than ones I've purchased before, so my expectations were higher. For this Price Point, you can generally get ones with added features such as wireless charging and such from Amazon. However, it was quickly noticeable, that those lack the quality this one has. It's worked great, the clamp holds the phone tightly and securely. The Suction cup has held up nicely, even here in the South Louisiana heat. To be fair, we haven't hit the peak of sun and heat here yet, but we've had some pretty hot days and it has not fallen once. The arm is very secure and I love the many pivoting options.

This is by far the best phone mount I have used, it is easy to install, sturdy, and plenty of support for big phones. I am able to put my iPhone 11 even with its otter box case on with no issues at all. Highly recommend!
