The iOttie RapidVOLT MAX car charger is an item that everyone should have. This is a dual port charger that delivers 25 watts at 5A (amps) which is shared over both of the ports, inside the charger is a smart detect chip which will be able to detect what your device needs for charging and adjusts the power accordingly, for example if you are charging two devices and one needs 2.4A(amps) and the other needs 1A(amp) the iOttie charger will be able to detect what each device needs and send the proper power to each device safely charging each device. Even if a device needs more power to charge it the smart detect chip will be able to send the right amount of power to charge your device. The white ring glows a nice soft green to let you know that the charger is powered and ready to charge your device. The build quality is fantastic, made of a durable plastic and while testing this device I did not hear any creaking like some of those lower cost chargers. This charger is built solid, I have used this charger everyday to charge my phone and I experienced no problems at all. I did notice that the iOttie RapidVOLT MAX charger was faster at charging my phone than any other charger I have. Like many people I bought a few of those $5-$8 chargers while waiting in line at the store and the iOttie beats them all! Comparing the build quality to those low cost chargers is really no contest, I have had many of the low cost ones either stop working, fall apart or they were very slow in charging my phone. The iOttie charger works with Apple products as well, it charged my iPod Touch 5 with no problems, actually just like my phone it charged faster than any other charger. Now you will have to use your own cable because it does not come with a cable, for me that is not a problem because I have so many cables I do not think I will run out. If you definitely want a quality charger and have full confidence that it will work every time then you should get this charger, it will be the last one you will get!
