I bought this on Black Friday and it was awesome the first night then the very next day he was vacuuming the bedroom and started squeezing so I clean everything I could like it said in the Manuel and it was still squeaking so I flipped it over moved the middle wheel no sound left wheel no sound right wheel loud squeaking so I called roomba they wanted me to replace the wheel and play bob the builder with my 200 dollar vacuum. Uhh no thanks so I had to return it sadly no more we’re in stock so that ended there probably won’t buy another one again but it was convenient while I had it.

My 16 year old son actually bought this for me for Christmas. I had been thinking about buying one but he beat me to the punch. He went out on Black Friday for the first time ever, on his own, and went to Best Buy to purchase the 690 model. Unfortunately, they were out of stock and they convinced him to purchase the 614 with a 4 year warranty that would let me upgrade to a newer model. He was never offered a rain check and didn't know he should have asked for one to get the 690 he really wanted at the special price offer of about $290 on black Friday. I was touched by his willingness to spend that much money on something for his mom especially because I would never ask for anything that expensive from my children. We gave the 614 a try for several days. While it had no problem going from tile to wood to carpeted floors, what it did have a problem with was covering a complete area. Because it basically goes in one direction until it bumps into something, turns then goes another direction, it doesn't systematically cover an area completely. I would have to pick it up and move it to a place I wanted it to clean then stand there blocking it from leaving that area or put things around to prevent it from moving on. For all that effort, I can just as easily do the cleaning manually. I think the 690 will do more of what I want it to do if I decide to purchase it. The remote control feature from my phone was important to me and to be able to program it to clean at specific times. When my son returned it to the store, he was given a full refund but still not offered the (still out of stock) 690 at the black Friday price. For now, I'll wait until the price comes down on that one somewhere. I wish Best Buy would have been more proactive to make the sale to my son at the special price offer, but they weren't.

While it does a good job vacuuming what it chooses to go over, the assembly line must have forgotten to put a brain in this one as it goes over the same path over and over, but it cannot even realize when it is running over its docking area - even though it has been told to dock. It follows the same path, again and again, without going over new territory.

The robot does clean after a while, but it is not smart at all. It keeps running in the same area and it has a lot of trouble with tables and chairs. I had to return it because it was a waist of money. Maybe the more advance ones could work better, or just simply use your vacuum.

Didn’t care much for this gadget or the results it produced.

I’m not happy with this purchase. It stops many times, sometimes it starts again on its own, sometimes I need to press the button. I need to take it to technical assistance

Bought this on Black Friday and took it home and set it up right away. It is so random, bounces all over the place and doesn’t clean an entire room. I exchanged it for the roomba 690 and have no complaints.

Returned the product. It might have been defective but kept returning to the base after shortly running it's cycle.

Cannot be programmed through app Not user friendly

Because there was only one brush, it did not clean well.
