I read the reviews online and decided to purchase anyways. This unit is LOUD. I have to really turn up tv when running. Also product specs are misleading. You cannot schedule cleaning on this model. I knew it wasn’t the smart phone one, so I bought it since it was cheaper. I regret that choice, go for the newer model. Maybe it’s queiter...

Couldn’t wait to buy this since I have a German Shepherd who sheds and I was vacuuming daily. Roomba works well as far as going under chairs and ottomans and entertainments centers. However it basically just hits the wall then backs up, it is really random and a room is never completely done since it doesn’t work in a pattern. I returned after a week and purchased a Samsung from Home Depot that works really great.

I bought this for my mom who is elderly and not into tech. However this is a good product for non tech savvy folks. Runs well and does its job well. But it does not dock by itself like it should. I may need to try pressing dock myself this weekend. Maybe mom not pressing correct button.

It cleans well, but it keeps getting stuck under my kitchen cabinet for some reason. Also, this vacuum is supposed to be able to connect to my home Wi-Fi network and to work with Alexa, but I can’t figure out how to get those features operational.

The 614 Model works fine. It is a base model with no wifi or App. Honestly, being able to start my vacuum or set a schedule from my phone is not a big deal to me. I do not think everything I own needs to connect to the internet. It is exactly like the 650 and 680 model you can get from other retailers except for one key difference: it does not have a schedule Button. This was not a "make or break" feature for me as it was a gift to my Dad. However, if you want to preset schedules you can get the 680 for the same price at another retailer.

works very nice on carpet, on hardfloor is not that good. easy to clean the filters.

Was easy to use. Programming was easy and simple to understand.

We haven't tried the roomba yet. I couldn't afford a bigger model so we will opt for the simple model. It's a Christmas gift so we won't be trying it out til January. I'm sure we're going to like it.

Worked on vinyl flooring. Worked on shag carpet. Oddly would not work on area rug. Kept stopping every minute saying move to new area. Taking it back. Supposed to work on all surfaces.

Probably would have been a good idea to do the upgraded one of these. Its all good though. Remember to pick up after your dog or cat if it poops.

Not sure how to rate this product since it is my first but works good overall

It is easy to use and convenient. I think if we didn't have two Lab dogs that she'd all the time, it would be more useful. It gets full of dog hair about halfway thru and has to be emptied to finish.

You have to make sure nothing is on the floor like toys, cords, blanket end... Also need to figure out how to get the whole floor before needing a charge.

The Roomba 614 cleans the floor effectively, but is very slow and needs to be emptied frequently.

Very loud I hate it. Pay more money for a better model

It gets the job done. To work well you’ve got to lock it in the room you want to clean. Otherwise it can get easily lost somewhere else and never make it back. Still, it’s a lot cheaper than the WiFi models.

Seems to do a decent job; it appears to rely more on its sweeping action, rather than vacuuming action, even though it has only one corner brush. Has a convenient carrying handle, but dust bin removal is somewhat inconvenient.

Takes too long to locate dirt/mess and pick up. Roams around the same spots and takes forever to cover one toom
