This little guy does all the hard work. It really cleans our floors while we are working. Coming back home and enjoying our clean home is worth it every dollar we spend on it. I recommend it 100%

Ok, this is not a toy. It does a really good job. Got one for my Grandma who could not handle a regular vacuum any longer. Big time blessing.

This is one the best purchases I've ever made. It's so helpful, we have 2 dogs and a cat and the roomba does so well picking up hair.

This is a great product. I have three. I set the timer and it cleans beautifully. Empty the dust tray each use. It have time for other things. My next purchase is the Roomba scrubber!

I can't tell you how much I want to love this purchase. I'm a bachelor who keeps a fairly need house, but doesn't do things like sweep/vacuum as much as I should. I work a fairly consistent schedule which means I can program my Roomba to run when I'm not there so I don't even have to be disturbed while it does it's job. Seems like a perfect fit. And yet I'm struggling to fully endorse this product. Does it clean well? Yes...when it actually cleans. I have a mix of hardwood and carpet in my home and it does a great job on both. It gets under furniture. I'm always amazed when I watch it navigate the tangle of table/chair legs in my kitchen where it does an impressive job of keeping my floors spotless. It even does a decent job on the rug in my bathroom. So what's the problem? My Roomba gets stuck/confused and shuts itself down waaaaaaay to easily and waaaaay too frequently. At first it kept getting stuck on a rug with long tassels on the end. Understandable and not a problem...I've needed an excuse to replace that rug anyway. Then it kept getting hung up on a corner of my large living room rug where it would get boxed in between the rug, a wall, and my couch. So I rearranged my furniture a bit to keep the rug closer to the wall so the Roomba wouldn't be able to squeeze in that area. Problem solved I thought. That's when the fun really started. My Roomba is scheduled to run every morning after I leave the house Monday-Friday. In the last two weeks (10 weekdays) it has made it back to the charger on it's own exactly...one time. Every day I come home and play "Find the Roomba" to see what it's managed to get stuck on so it could quit cleaning. A couple times it was stuck under a night stand that it has to hit it straight on in order to get under it, but then can't seem to find it's way out. It still finds new ways to get stuck on the other corners of my living room rug. And my new favorite: I've come home multiple times to find it just sitting at the stop of a staircase. The thing that frustrates me is that when I find it stuck I simply move it and inch or two and restart it and it seems to behave just fine; it completes its cleaning cycle and returns to the charger. I've watched it navigate those same obstacles numerous times without issue, yet when I'm not here it seems to get confused way too easily. I honestly sometimes feel like my Roomba is a child: with supervision it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Without supervision, it seems like it gets distracted quits working. Another child-like quality: I keep trying to remove the things that are preventing it from behaving (like problematic rugs), yet it just keeps finding new creative ways to get in trouble again. While I do love the fact that my Roomba does in fact do a great job of cleaning my floors without me having to physically vacuum or sweep, I'm just really frustrated that it can't seem to do it consistently during its scheduled times. That was a big selling point for me: being able to run it when I'm not here. Instead I find myself having to listen to it and dodge it for the first 45 minutes every day when I get home from work. And the thing is, my house is VERY easy to navigate. Clutter and pet-free, mostly hardwood floors, a handful of furniture pieces, and a one large/high-pile rug to avoid. Yet it gets stuck over 80% of the time it runs. So I'll give it three stars for it's cleaning abilities, but that's the best I can do given it's poor track record with cleaning without manual intervention. If I could reverse the ratio and only have to give it assitance once every ten times it ran - heck, even once every five - I would give this product five stars. Unfortunately at this point I'm just too sick of finding it stranded in random parts of my house.

had the 570... we loved it also but it only lasted 2 years. i bought the geek squad protection for this one and am hoping for better luck. the vacuum really does a good job

It does a great job on the day to day dirt. We have two heavy shedding cats and it has helped keep cleaning time down. It doesn't eliminate all sweeping/vacuuming but it has brought us to one good cleaning a week from everyday.

This is an amazing product and worth the price! I was back and forth about purchasing and now I am so glad I did. It works better than I thought and very modern looking. I love it!

Purchased Roomba 650 over a month ago and have not swept since. We have dark natural hardwood floors with a white cat and a husky mix large dog. The hair on a daily bases was unbearable. Bought this unit just to keep floors manageable untill the weekend when we sweep and mop. The robot does a better job than manually sweeping with the vacuum. I at first was sceptical watching it wonder around with no real pattern, but the end result you can't argue with. Good purchase. Sold on Roomba!

The iRobot is great! I hate vacuuming and this little gem saves me hours a week from having to do that dreaded chore. I have a dog and two kids, so it's important to keep the floors and carpets clean. When we first got the iRobot, we'd have to clean it's brushes every 15 minutes, the amount of dog hair was just too overwhelming. After a thorough cleaning, we run the iRobot daily, sometimes more than that, if we're using it in different rooms. If you run it daily, there won't be the same amount of accumulation, so it will only have to be cleaned after each use. Still much easier then vacuuming yourself. You turn it on and it does it's thing. When it's done, it finds it's way back to it's base and recharges by itself. What's easier than that? I only wish it would clean it's own brushes! My only con with the device is that my couches are pretty low. The iRobot will sometimes get stuck underneath. I'm thinking about getting raisers for the couch just to raise it a few centimeters. Overall, a great purchase, very happy!

This is the first Roomba cleaning robot that I purchased and I must admit I've been impressed. I was skeptical of its efficacy before purchasing but having used it for almost a month now I can say it was a great buy! The machine is very thorough and does a great job of cleaning our non-carpeted apartment. I wish it could navigate the cords on the floor a little better, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the machine!

I was a little apprehensive about buying this at first, but I am so glad I did. I was worried about suction power. It does a great job. It goes under beds, couches, and entertainment centers. The first couple times it captured all the dust that was underneath. HEPA filtration keeps that dust from blowing around. I run two Sharper Image air cleaners and there was still potential dust to breath in. I like the automatic setting. I set it and it vacuums while I am at work. Completely satisfied with purchase.

Great invention that has transformed my cleaning routine. We have two dogs and a cat who constantly shed hair. Running the Roomba daily keeps the hair under control. Cleaning out the robot is easy. Works well across hardwood floors, carpets, and area rugs. As long as you keep small cords and fringes clear from the floor, works perfectly and covers large areas. Truly technology that makes life better.

Very easy to set-up and use. I actually mopped my floor prior to the first use and the Roomba still picked up stuff that I missed:) love it! Will never buy any other brand!!

Use the roomba daily. Love it. Programed it to run after work and mornings on weekends. Great for under the bed. Named it ruby.

It's an added bonus in between my cleaning routine. It picks up the dog hair and dust from my laminate floors. Gives me an extra break from cleaning furry hair balls and dust every other day.

I purchased this for my mother who is in her late 70's. The set up instructions for scheduling and maintenance were so EASY that she didn't even need my help. (normally she is VERY technologically disadvantaged LOL). She loves it. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday the unit wanders around the house doing it's job. When it's finished and redocks she empties the chamber of it's contents. Floors clean - job done! Her house is 2800 sq ft and it cleans the whole thing on it's single charge.

I love this Roomba! We upgraded to the newer version. You can set it to go on automatically at a certain time every day. We have two dogs and this is great at keeping up with the hair, but only if it runs on a daily basis. It has a larger dust compartment and the battery runs for longer periods of time than the older version. No complaints so far!

I have mostly tile throughout my home with carpet in the bedrooms. Our two small dogs are constantly dragging in debris from the yard and I was sick of sweeping every day. This roomba is awesome. It's programmed to come on everyday and the amount of debris it collects amazes me. Even when I thought my floors were relatively clean, after roombas cycle the whole dust bin was full. Roomba makes my life easier!!
