I had the 690 and after 2.5 years it died. Due to my allergies and dogs; reviews rated this product #1. It ran great fro 2 months and all of a sudden it’s docking backwards. I’m contacting Robot for assistance!

Awesome product very functional works a lot better than the older models and bonus it empty itself so you don’t have to remember to every time you use it

User friendly, cleans very well. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for carefree cleaning process.

Great for a week. Now it keeps stopping, spinning, and starting again. Tech support in India is worthless, as they keep asking you to send a video. That video has to be smaller than the size of an email itself, or it gets rejected by their server. They keep saying to clean the bumpers. "IT IS BRAND NEW AND CLEAN STILL!!" Apparently it seems like it gets some fun behind the bumper, which makes it think it just bumped into something. AVOID!! The mapping does a ok job mapping the level of the house. But every time it goes out, hits one of those imaginary obstacles in the middle of the floor, it changes the map. Then I have to go back to previous jobs, and re save the map again, back to normal. I wish they would lock the map, or atleast give you the option to lock it. Great concept and potential. We have 2 of them now, that both have the same issue. We have 1 dog that sheds lightly, and we clean every other day. Our 980 does a room great in 20 minutes, with nice straight lines. This one takes 45 minutes, and the carpet looks like ufo crop circles and lines.

Works great. Does a really nice job. Is taller than our old 680 and tends to scrape the bottom of some lower cabinet drawers. Also, does not like Lego bricks. It tried to pick up the shallower "L" shaped brick with the buttons. It got hung up and tore up one of the "brushes". Would I buy it again, YES! We do not have carpet only tile and laminate. The self emptying bin is really nice. Haven't had to change the bag yet and it's been about a month. We have a small dog and cat that shed and run it daily. I does require some maintenance, washing bin, tapping filter, cleaning hair off or roller ends, etc. Oh, and love the App!

amazing vacuum, haven't touched my big vacuum but do have to spot clean corners/places the roomba can't get to. Well worth the $, especially when it's on sale!

Great product. It eases our cleaning work and took the responsibility entirely on its shoulder. It cleans everywhere without any manual intervention.

We have had this Rouamba for about 3 months now. It is a bit louder than I expected but it has no problem vacuuming the house!

I was originally not a fan for this type of vacuum. However the vacuum bag system sealed the deal for me. This (along with the mop) has changed my life. It truly is a fantastic solution to vacuum and mop every day.

I named her Rosie and she’s doing good so far. My house is 3000+ sq ft so it’s taking a while to learn the room patterns but she does a good job figuring things out so long as I don’t interrupt her learning. She always makes it back to home base for recharge and then returns to where she left off. I have a long haired shepherd so it’s really great to have her run a couple times a week to keep up with the doghair!!!

Great gift for Christmas! Usually I am mad when I get a housework type gift but this was an exception. This will be a great help around the house.

Does not go on my thick rug. However, my Shark vacuum has no problem. Also it’s Very loud! Save your money!

If we could get his unit to work the way it is supposed to, it would be awesome! Unfortunately, we've now had 2 units with "communication errors," which according to iRobot is a common glitch with the s9+'s. We've had 2 defective units from Best Buy now, & am currently now waiting on a replacement (on backorder) directly from iRobot. If it wouldn't have this software error, it would be great. I would never get a robot vacuum that didn't come with these features; house mapping, app controlled, keep-out zones, etc. I hope my 3rd unit doesn't have this glitch.

This is the worst product that irobot has ever put out. I have the i7+ as well as a 300 series robot from eons ago. This is the 3rd S9+ that I've had to exchange in 1 year. For a thousand dollars, you'd expect the technology to work. Error 15 codes, losing connection with the home base, faulty batteries. For crying out loud. Even my 300 series robot with its unpredictable cleaning pattern, works better. Save your money. Get the i7+ instead.

I have one on every floor. I have two dogs and Don’t know how I managed without this them before. Wish it had the J7 Smart navigation to avoid leashes and socks though… only challenge is that you have to have patience and willingness to take 10 minutes to clean the brushes of hair and the filer every few days if you run it everyday. It’s not a set it and forget it took. They all need maintainance.

I am allergic to pretty much everything. Because of this I’ve developed pretty bad asthma. I also often break out into hives for seemingly not reason so it’s extremely important that my floors be clean. Not only does this work better than the older model (my hair does not get tangled up in the mechanism of the s9+) but the self emptying feature means I never have to deal with the the allergens until I change the bag. I run it often and have yet to change the bag. We plan on purchasing another one to replace the older model we have upstairs.

The Roomba is accurate in cleaning, very smart. Roomba is strong and pick up everything and then docks and empty’s the dirt. How can you not love this.

A little pricey but it provides best possible robot vacuum, there is no compromise on the quality. Cleans very well and this Roomba has been very reliable.
