This system does what it says it does in a cost-effective manner: it is a general purpose home security system, with door/window sensors, an audible alarm, motion sensor and camera. It was easy to set up, easy to arm and disarm, and seems to effectively transmit alarms and other notifications. The main gap is that there is no external camera, even as an available add-on. I contacted the company and they confirmed that they are developing one, but it seems an easy add-on, considering so many competitors have them. Anyway, I remain pleased with the system and the price.

Great for home security and peace of mind. Easy to install and operate. Very loud when alarm is triggered. The text, email, and phone calls for alarm triggers are prompt and great.

Because my internet is trash, when it goes out, I cannot get notified that they alarm is going off. However, it does still go off, even without internet. Every once in a while, the cameras need unplugged. But I am happy with the system. A piece of mind.

We like this system way better than our old one; which was a monitored deal. This alarm has almost paid itself off in just the couple months we've had it, compared to what we used to pay monthly over the past 4yrs. Want to upgrade with more equipment as soon as possible. Only con I find so far is if the electricity goes out, or the power source is unplugged , the system goes down.

System is very easy to install and program, works very well. App works great and camera works better than expected.

This is a great inexpensive alarm system that anyone can set up. Like others I have received messages it was offline even though my internet access was working, but it has only been for short times.

I was having problems with my daughter sneaking out of the house and was putting my own health in jeopardy by setting an alarm for every hour during the night so I could check on her. I purchased the iSmart Alarm bundle in the hope that it would be my eyes and ears during the night. It came with 3 contacts, and I used one on the front door and one on the back. I found the 3rd one useful when she found a window to sneak out of. I already have a Canary covering the front entrance to my house, so the spot camera was set up on the back door. This is also useful for monitoring while I'm at work, as you can use the app to access the camera at any time. The wifi connection is only as good as your internet provider's wifi. The customer service from iSmartAlarm is good, though only available during "normal business hours". The app is easy to install, access, and use. I now have the peace of mind I was seeking, full nights of uninterrupted sleep, and my daughter is no longer sneaking out of the house in the early hours of the morning. The only "con" to this system is that it has to be hardwired into the modem, so if your modem is in a place where you may not be able to hear the alarm so well, you may want to get a REALLY long cord :)

Very easy to setup. I used to have a camera, then finally decided to buy the system. It does its job for sure, especially to keep track of the family.

The system is very user friendly and it was easy to set up and get started. The SPOT camera still needs some work as the picture lags a bit.

It took some getting used to with this DIY security system. This make and model is exactly what we need. The price is right as well.

This a great home security DIY system that has all the capabilities of your big name brand systems. I didn't want a monthly bill but I want some kind of security and this does just that. With the mobile app I can check in on my house at any given time of day. You just have to try it. Its awesome

Works great, easy to install and gives you notifications right away! I do wish the alarm was a bit louder but it does the job.

I really like the iSmartAlarm but there are definitely improvements to be made. I love that the spot camera can detect motion and sound and send notifications based on that. I have not yet tested the ability to listen for smoke or carbon monoxide detector alarms. I had to mount my motion detectors upside down to avoid being triggered by my 25 pound dog, but it works fine now. The one thing that I cannot believe is not included is a arm/disarm keypad, which apparently they're coming out with this summer.

ismart alarm system is great, I have not had any trouble out of the system. It does exactly what it says secure your home. I feel very safe with this system. I love being able to know when someone comes in and out of my home.
