This movie is somewhat of a science fiction classic (story by the legendary Ray Bradbury) of the 1950's and it was filmed in 3D. The high definition of the Blu-ray DVD shows of the 3D beautifully, although of course you must have a 3D TV and 3D DVD player to get the 3D effect. For such a low price this movie would be a bargain even if it was only in 2D because you get such a nice sharp picture, but see it in 3D if you can!

This is a classic movie made better in blu-ray 3D. Both 2D & 3D are on the same disc, so it will play in 2D on standard blu-ray players. For those that have 3D equipment, this is a real treat. PQ is excellent, though not widescreen. AQ is good. A nice special feature, albeit not many. For the price, this can't be beat. Thank you for reading.

This is has both the 2D an 3D available on a single disc. I watched the 3D and it is fantastic with a good quality print. This was the first, I believe, 3 channel stereo and the audio is also very strong for a movie this old. A great bargain for the price, hopefully Best Buy will release more of these classic 3D movies in the future.

This movie itself may be a bit basic, at least for people who have seen countless variations on it at this point, but it's not only a moody, atmospheric film, but a terrific demonstration of 3-D. The foreground characters pop out of the screen, while the background seem to have real depth. This is, of course, a 3-D film from back in the days of the two cameras side-by-side and would traditionally have been done with red-green filters, but it's adapted for modern systems and it looks beautiful. It probably looks better than it did in theaters originally!

It Came from Outer Space is a superior early '50s SciFi film, reissued in its 3-D form. Picture quality is outstanding, rock-steady and completely free of speckles, scratches or splices. The 3-D is effective and not overdone. All this, plus outstanding stereo sound, make this a true winner, not to be missed. Both 3-D and 2-D versions are on the disc, plus a 30-minute documentary and a commentary track. What a bargain!

I love these old classic Sci-Fi movies. There are a lot really cheesy ones out there and this one might be considered a B classic but it deserves to be considered one of the classic ones like war of the worlds and invasion of the body snatchers. I would put it in this category, just has that classic sci-fi traditional feel to it. Great classic flick...

It Came From Outer Space is an old 50's film that still plays well today. A crisp script that tells of stranded aliens on Earth resonates with the current refugee crisis facing us today. The biggest draw for this film though is the excellent 3-d that is some respects is superior to today's attempts. Watch the bonus extra that explains how the studio developed their own technique to accomplish the 3-d. The blu-ray is well worth the price and an excellent BestBuy exclusive.

Great 3d classic finally released on Bluray. Looks great projected on a big screen with my 3d LCD projector. Seeing home video releases of House of Wax, The Mask, Creature from the Black Lagoon and now It came form Outer Space is like being a kid in candy shop. The prices are great and quality is excellent. I just received The Mad magician and now I'm hoping for 3d releases of The Maze and Robot Monster.

This blu-ray is a HUGE upgrade over the old DVD. It's wide-screen instead of 1.33:1 disc, it has the original 3D version (plus the 2D) and the original 3-track stereo soundtrack is a sonic wonder. AND I got it for a VERY reasonable price! Best Buy knocked it out of the park with this exclusive. If you like the old 50's sci-fi films, don't miss this excellent blu-ray of It Came From Outer Space.

I am a big fan of all 3-D films and I remember when this film was first released in the theaters and I am amazed at how well it holds up after all these years. Thoroughly enjoy ablel but you must remember The technical level was quite different.compared to what we have today so don't expect it to be as sophisticated production wise. Nevertheless a valuable addition to my 3-D library

Universal's entry into the 3D market has been given a remarkable transfer to blu ray. The picture is clean and sharp and the sound is a much more faithful representation of what audiences heard back in 1953. Compared to previous home video releases, this transfer has a wide stereo field with aggressive use of the surround channels. A real treat for the sci-fi fan!

This is a movie every Sci-Fi fan should see. I have always passed on it in the past because it was an older flic and I did not think it would be cool or have greats effects for its age. Well I was wrong. It impressed me and they did a wonderful job remastering the print into HI-Def for a blu-ray release! And it's a bargain at less than $10. Check it our for sure.

An oldy but a goody. This is an older movie but good one, the sad thing is that it doesnt look like 3d is going to be supported in the U.S. any more, which is one of the reasons I bought the set I bought. It looks like there is still more 3d available in other regions of videos released,like Alice through the looking glass....not available in 3d in the U.S.

I'm a big sci fi fan and soon as I saw Best Buy releasing this classic exclusively I had to pick it up. The film itself is genuinely terrific. Though some of the effects haven't aged well, the film as a whole still holds up really well. The 3D is well done too, though some shots have some sever crosstalk, but overall I really enjoyed this film and highly recommend for classic sci fi fans.

This is a classic 50's Sci-fi romp restored to fantastic condition. Being so old, the aspect ratio is 1:3, a square, rather than a rectangle, so expect black bars on the sides. It is also Black & White. The 3D is tasteful and includes quite a few pop-out effects.

I didn't have high hopes for this due to the age of the film but, as a 3D enthusiast I had to give it a shot. Totally worth it! Despsite its obvious low budget, this movie is actually really entertaining, has some good comedic moments, and some really great 3D effects. Definitely worth checking it if you're into older 3D films!

This is a Blu-ray DVD review. The movie is in 2D and 3D on the same disc. I used the x-box one S 4k and a Vizio 4K to view it on. For a 1953 movie it was amazing how the clarity and sound was. I have not view it in 3D yet, but it is suppose to be one of the best ones done with real 3D cameras. The story is done by Ray Bradbury .

i loved this, great bargin for 7.99, in 3D TOO! This was a better story than i thought, i lover classic sci fi and this is it! i would recommend if sci fi is your thing, if you are looking for modern special effects, dont bother. Classics like this bring me back to the 50's era even though i wasnt born then, what a cool time!

Very pleased with both the image and sound quality of this release, especially at this price. And if you don't have a 3D capable system, no worries, it still looks fantastic in 2D. Based on a story by Ray Bradbury, IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE is a fun 50s Sci Fi made all the better by this Best Buy exclusive offering.

I was so pleased to see this release, then was bowled over by the low price. Transfer is the best I've ever seen on this title, and the bonus features are very well done. Although I don't have a 3-D set-up at home, the inclusion of this version has me ready to go should I wish to upgrade my system to use it.
