Work's Very Well, Almost No Sound When The Lid Is Opening. Only Regret Is I Should Have Bought The Next Bigger Sized One. Overall Great Buy.

This trash can does everything it says. My only regret is that I didn't purchase a larger one. The kids love it. They think it's magic.

We've owned this particular model for 3 years now and it truly is the BEST trash can we've ever had. Opens automatically as you approach the lid. Can turn off the power via a switch on the back and you can also run a power adapter if you wanted. We run on batteries and only have to replace them once a year or so. Its also very easy to clean. Super great for KIDS since they don't have to touch it to throw away stuff keeping their hands germ free. We have a family of 4 and we only have to empty this once a week. We have 2 in the home. One for garbage and one for recycles. It's super easy to clean and dispose of the bag. We actually use 30 gallon Glad Forceflex bags in here instead of the 13 gallon. It just gives it more room to compact the trash. Plus, when we take the bag out and get ready to take it to the curb we have more room to dump the other small trash cans we have in the house into the same bag. Makes for one trip to the outside trash can and less plastic bags to reduce environmental pollution.

Didn’t come with power cord. Sold separately which is inconvenient

Bought this because it advertised it eliminates odor, could not eliminate a bit. Don't buy if you buy it for this function. I can get cheaper price if only a touchless trash can.
