It would not stay put in my laptop. it had a forward lean out the box. i tried to use it anyway and deal with the issue but every time i go to use my laptop it disconnected. it was such a hassle to keep it connected. the concept i love. i will try another model or brand.

This mini dock is designed to be specifically used with the Surface Pro 4, 5, or 6. The USB A and the Mini Display Port plugs are specifically spaced for those models. This device is plug and play and does not require any drivers to be downloaded.
