I would have given it 5 stars, but the placement of the wire hooked up to the back of the cam is on the left side (should be in the center) so if the cord is at all stretched out, it pulls to that side and it’s hard to get it to stay in position. Other than that the picture quality is amazing. I would easily recommend this cam to anyone.

It didn’t come with a battery. The remote only works for zoom in/out (limited), it doesn’t turn the camera or adjust in any other way. The button, on the remote, to turn off the camera also doesn’t appear to do anything. I would not say it is worth the significant difference in price. I do like the camera cover which was the main noticeable strength and reason I bought it. So that’s why the 3 stars vs less.

I purchased the JVCU435 thru Best Buy. It's a very good 4K webcam, with excellent low light resolution, and good dual mic's. I downloaded the software program (app) and it does all the included remote control's zoom & pan functions, as well as adjusting hue, brightness, etc. Using this webcam with the free Windows 10 "Camera" app lets you see on your screen the capabilities of this webcam. The only weakness is that the remote looks to have about a 6-foot max operating distance. Remote battery is not included. This webcam encloses all the hardware to digitize and convert for live streaming, so you don't need a "strong" computer to do the processing. It uses the latest handshake protocols that allows the 4K capture being streamed to be received at other end as a lower resolution if the bandwidth is poor, or to match the lower screen resolution...... So it just works with little or no fiddling. Of course, all this built-in computational power causes the webcam to get hot to the touch. It probably could use a fan and better ventilation..... but it works just fine.

I'm a photographer/Videographer and This has EVERYTHING you could POSSIBLY need in a webcam! This camera allows you to tilt.. zoom.. pan with the REMOTE. No more getting up.. walking across the room to fix the way the camera is framing you. JUST USE THE REMOTE! It's even AWESOME in dim lit rooms! My husband wanted a camera for live streaming his podcast in the dark basically with colored LED backlighting and THIS camera does that and more! Talk about CRISP, images in the dark.. this is it! I purchased this camera and waited for it to be delivered, while my husband purchased a expensive different camera (about $250 he stated) while I caught the Best Buy sale (less than $100). He swore UP and DOWN his camera would be what he needed, but when he plugged it up.. he had to download drivers.. and move back and forth to the camera for the right settings. With this camera you dont have to do that. I purposely purchased a camera for him so he wouldn't have to download drivers.. that's old school any way. Who has extra space on any device these days?? This is Plug and Play! Now.. here's the downside of it.. the sound quality is not quite what he wanted, but since he's a sound technician... he figured out a way around that problem by hooking up an external mic a different way. And it does have a SLIGHT lag, but the lag is so small.. its not really that noticeable. But he only wanted the camera for the video aspect of it anyway! HANDS down... this was the right choice for him or any one for that matter looking for a BETTER WEBCAM EXPERIENCE.

I am happy with this webcam. We use it to broadcast our outdoor church service via Zoom Meetings, and it works reasonably well. Worked first time on a Windows 10 computer running Zoom plugged into a USB port, no fuss with needing to run other software as you may have to do if you try to use a video camera. There is a pan/tilt/zoom function, but this is NOT mechanical. It is an electronic trick using the 5x zoom function. Once zoomed in a bit, you can "point" the camera to a spot from the original non-zoomed image. So if you can see something while not zoomed, you can zoom in to that part of the image, even if it is in the far corner. The camera head can be manually rotated and tilted on the fly. The dual microphones seem to work reasonably well also, as they picked up the sound from the amplified speakers about 30 feet away.

Bought this camera to have at my desk for ease of making quick guitar instructional videos. Super easy to connect and worked right away with Quicktime - no issues at all. I purchased a gooseneck for it separately which really helped with angles and such - didn't seem like it would sit on the top of a monitor all that securely. The zoom and tilt features work pretty good and the remote seems good too. I like how on the remote you can shut off the picture. There is also a slider to cover up the lens. Video is super clear and it seems to work well in dim to normal lighting.

I love this camera and the fact that it has a remote control to zoom in and out and control other functions. I never had a camera that allowed me to do this and it’s really quite nice. Great picture quality definitely recommend.

The camera quality is GREAT! picture and sound are sharp even in low light situations. However, the remote control for zooming in is intermittently working. Although the zoomed picture is also great quality, getting the zoom to respond to the remote is a challenge. Additionally, when making a live video and trying to use the zoom, the clicking is very loud on the remote.

Wonderful camera, who knew I was in the dark for a year! Many compliments on how clear I am and the functionality to zoom in and out is amazing. I wish I could save settings as I keep the camera in the same spot but really, its nothing but convenience. The remote helps overcome this easily. Amazing picture quality.

Wonky USB wire placement off center pulls camera out of alignment. Results in not dependable framing stability. Attachment methodology needs rethinking. Great camera...swivel ball has no friction adjustment so the wire gradually pulls down on one side. Almost comical design flaw on a great camera.

The j5create Webcam works just great. I have demoed it to others and at least one person told me they purchased the same camera. The Zoom feature is the best part of the camera. The remote control is easy to use.

I do Youtube and was skeptical on the camera due to webcams claiming 1080p & 4k when compared to my Canon EOS M5 Camera, the upgrade is absolutely noticeable from my C920Pro Logitech Webcam and will not go back, I did just start using this webcam so at this time I can't attest to it's durability, but from a content creator standpoint. This is a great webcam

Really nice, except for 3 things. Picture is clear sound seems good. Issue #1 Who ships an item like this without the button battery included. Seems like a silly place to save 3 dollars for the seller. #2 The PTZ feature works but it is not smooth. You image shifts in preset increments in the desired direction rather than actually panning or zooming smoothly. #3 It would be nice if the camera could swivel up and down on mount rather than just left or right.

This camera is slick! Super easy to use, plug and play. Image quality is great and the remote is super convenient. Works well with audio setups too. Very glad I bought this.

Very good webcam with a nice microphone. I use this one to replace my standard webcam installed on my laptop. Remote control is an good option. However, I seldom use it.

Very good picture quality. The Zoom in and out works (not much zoom. But, better than nothing). Focus is good enough. Once you zoom in, panning works as this is simply electronic panning.

The camera works fine. The remote is easy to operate. The one criticism the camera gets hot, put it in a well ventilated area.

I am fan of quality, I have to say that i was wonder with my first impression, you can notice the quality, never got 4k webcam, made the comparison with 1080p webcam, a lot o difference. The controller is amazing, (need to buy a battery for it #2032).

I am very happy with this webcam. This thing blew me away for the price, i had no idea that I would be so satisfied being that I’m a professional streaming producer that uses pro video & music production tools designed for broadcast. I would recommend anyone contemplating on spending more on a camera for above average quality give this webcam a try and you won’t be disappointed.
