very easy to setup and very smooth to run, it is nice.

it is cool, it can connect Mac and windows computer. but sometime it needs to reconnect when one of computer is sleep. and you do not want to expect very high data transfer speed.

Got this for use between my Mac and a Windows 10 laptop. Easy to connect. Transfer is easy and quick. Works well with both and is compatible.

got this to transfer files from one computer to another. works well enough for the price and keeps me from having to go to external HD and back.

Extremely disappointed in the assistance from Apple, after 3 techs, one App wouldn't work with the iPhone 6s and iMac. Apple Care Telephone Support Supervisor, said there was a system problems. After taking over the computer, they said in order to correct the system problem would require a vault password and Best Buy should have given it to me when purchased. I was skeptical just how BB could do that with the product sealed. But they insisted Best Buy should have given me the vault key. Therefore, the laptop was inoperable, but the superb service of the Lynchburg store said they wouldn't have such. They took the laptop back and credited my account. Have not repurchased since due to the the fear of a system failure in the future, without a vault key. I commend Best Buy Customer, outstanding . Since Best Buy doesn't have the key as well as Apple, who has the key when the product fails?

Good product that does what it says! Process for transferring content was simple and painless.

Bought a new computer, and had to transfer files - data, programs, etc. It gets cumbersome copying everything to discs or thumbdrives. This was a whole lot easier and faster. Took a little while to download the program required for transfer to both computers, but once that was done, the exchange was easy.

Transferred some large Gb files easily, other Mb files it wouldn't transfer. A 128 Gb flash drive would have been easier & faster.

The wormhole cable is great. Use it to transfer files from my laptop to my desktop computers and vice versa. There is no need to use CDs or DVDs. I would recommend this product to those transferring files from one computer to another.

I guess I would have given it more stars if I could have easily figured out how to use it. I thought I was buying something that would simply open a window (on second computer) with access to all the files on the first computer so I could just drag (transfer) those first computer files onto my second computer. But it was to complicated for me to even bother with. My fault though for not realizing what I was buying.

Old lap top was on its last legs, bought the warm hole switch, emailed support with a question, had the answer in minutes and transferred what I needed, support followed up twice to make sure I was happy. Great product and support!!

I could not move my information from my old iMac to my new MacBook Pro using Apple wireless (Airport/Time Machine). The Geek Squad recommended this transfer cable. I tried it and it worked flawlessly the first time. I am now a happy camper and enjoying my new MacBook Pro.

Ok. Way overpriced for what it does. Not sure, if you really need it.

I have been very pleased with the j5 USB Wormhole switch. It was easy to connect and it seamlessly transferred files from my old laptop to my new one. It made the process worry free.

Drag and drop photos, files and more between PC and Mac That's the Best went you can transfer fills, USB 3.0 connector that adapts to 2.0 and 1.1 for efficient transfers.

The instructions of the wormhole switch were somewhat incomplete; as I had to do some trial & error techniques to figure it out. The maximum file size transfer could be larger, and sometimes the toggle back and forth between computers freezes up to where I have to reboot both computers.

Not worth the $, does not interface with linux-based NASes, does not transfer at a faster rate than straight USB3. Save the money, buy a USB3 cable and pay the tech savvy kid you know $20 bucks to do the work for you. Then, with the remaining $10, go treat yourself to some ice cream. Seriously. Oh, and Best Buy's return policy is 2 weeks so keep that in mind as well.

I bought this because I have some devices that had what I thought were ports for powering them with usb slots and I have wall outlets with usb ports. Unfortunately those devices couldn't be powered that way, only by an AC adaptor. So I had to return this. This particular item is only for data transfer, not a power source.
