It Work But With a Lot of Heat

I can't get an accurate temperature, but I know it's over 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and probably closer to 120. Maybe this is normal for this device, but to me, it's worrisome.

Posted .LinuxUser, we can understand the concern in regards to the hot temperature you experienced. Due to electricity running through the adapter, this is normal. If in the case the adapter is harming you or smoking, please do not hesitate to contact the support team and a specialist will gladly exchange it for you under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

The JCD383 is a plug and play mini docking station. It is easy to set up and it will work with MacOS Big Sur. The JCD383 will work with any computer that has a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Hope that you have a good day.

Have read this is to be expected with electronic devices such as this. However, I can never be fully comfortable with this much heat generation. Do not remember other adapters I've used being this warm.
