Works great but not a fan of the cable

My only complaint (and I knew this when purchased) is that the cable is hard wired and can't be removed. Because of this it doesn't fit in my cable case very well and requires the cable to be bent around like the product photo shows.

may be under-powered

Gets very warm when in use for only an hour. But provides access to the external devices I need it to. Cross check what your device needs but this is great otherwise.

Posted .If the machine the JCD383 is connected to is alerting that it needs a certain amount of power and you are using the OEM connected through the JCD383; you may experience slight loss of power since the charger is going through another adapter before getting to the machine itself. In this case, we recommend using a higher-wattage power adapter since the JCD383 is capable of supporting up to 85-watts. We regret to hear about the experience you had and would value the opportunity to change it. Support information can be found on the casing and an agent will be happy to help.

I wish it had more than one hdmi plug in but overall this product is worth the purchase but of course could be more budget friendly. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Small useful dock, but awkward plug-in

The extremely short "plug-in" cord is so short that it often clutters the space near a laptop, and ends up "dangling" or "handing" off the side of the laptop, its desktop, its table, or your lap, thus "tugging" the connectors, and requiring all the items plugged into it without any space. If it only had a much longer (or more extendable) attachment cord, it would have been a much better, more useful dock.
