Good quality USB-C hub

The ability to pass-through power frees up a USB-C port on the computer and the USB charging port works well with peripherals that need the extra oomph.

It's HOT!

I purchased to connect an external monitor to my laptop. It gets hot, and stops working after about 2 hours. Was only using power through, and HDMI. I tried it again, just using power through and ethernet. It again got too hot, and quit working after a few hours.

Too hot and drops video connection.

Its also randomly and intermittently dropping out the video feed to the monitor like its getting unplugged. I would not really recommend this unit and am switching to a different externally powered unit.
