Also occasional interference with wireless mouse action. All this really blamed on removal of adequate number of ports on latest edition of major manufacturer of laptops. Just two total ports for peripheral devices is not sufficient!!!

Not a big fan of the way it just flops around like that. I bought it too soon after getting my iPad Pro. Should have waited for a better version of this same dongle. Won’t charge iPad with apple 18w charger. You have to buy a larger power charger. Pretty much just sits on my desk.

Posted .Hey and thank you for reviewing the JCD383. I regret to hear about the experience you had. We can assure you this is normal. Due to electricity running through the hub while in use - this is considered normal. In the case where the hub is smoking or harming you due to the hot touch, we recommend contacting support on the casing and seeking an exchange under the manufacturer's two year warranty.

Like all the features and most of all the price.

Posted .Laptop manufacturers are removing network ports to keep laptops as thing as possible. Wi-Fi does not always provide a good enough connection. The JCD383 will not only give you the Ethernet port, but it also has USB-A ports and an HDMI port for another display.
