Posted .aelsm, I appreciate the input on the JCA374. It is possible the HDMI cable in use may be too long, the cable may be defective, the USB-C male end of the JCA374 may be loose or other. Regardless of the issue, our specialists are standing by ready to assist and figure out the root of the issue. If needed, we will gladly exchange it for you under the manufacturer's two-year warranty.

Posted .This device requires a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port on a computer that can support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" and "Power Delivery" over USB-C. The power-in port only allows pass-through charge for a computer. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Cordially, j5.

If you are on Big Sur, at this time we are placing all alike customers on an "On-Hold" list and as soon as the drivers are available, you will be notified and provided with those instructions. We apologize for the inconvenience with the JCA374; in this case, we recommend exchanging it for a JCD383 or other plug-and-play adapter requiring no driver installation and that will work for you. For the JCA374 to work it needs to be plugged into a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature.
