No disconnects, no problems whatsoever. The price is a bit steep, but definitely worth it. Buy with confidence.

It has not given me any troubles to date. I have used the two usb ports and the HDMI port without fail. I have not tried to the network port as of yet.

The laptop did have a usb-c port so this unit was the perfect addition. It gave me 2 additional usb ports plus a usb-c port & I did not have to use one of the existing regular usb ports to connect. Very happy camper!

I like the fact that my power adapter can pass thru this devise also opening up the second USB type C port on my laptop. It's also a nice compact size.
