Would have been cheaper to buy two separate adaptors but this included HDMI which might come in handy later. Setup was easy enough.

Their web site said to consider not upgrading your OS until they had the software available -- this was not an option for me so the item was returned the next day. This happened back in November 2019, so maybe the problem has now been corrected. If the company now offers the necessary software, this item certainly offers a much better deal than the products which Apple sells. Check on software status prior to purchase; if that is not an issue, this is probably a very good item as it has a lot of good options on it. Sorry I could not use it and had to purchase something else which offered a whole lot less.

All good but the flicker

Finding the proper software on their website is also a challenge. Once I found the directions and proper download to allow the Ethernet port portion to work..I installed per the directions, great ethernet working, plugged in USB mouse, ok it works too. Fast Forward 3 months........Ethernet still works like a champ, the 3.0 USB ports (there are only 2) . The mouse starts to be very chunky responding sometimes.. as days go by it gets worse, now mouse does not work in either port, as well as no thumb drive work either....uninstalled the software (just in case) reinstall. Same issue the usb ports still not working. Will call their support line tomorrow (short East Coast hours). overall DO NOT BUY.

Posted .Buggy performance is inconvenient and at times upsetting, we understand and apologize for the troubles you experienced. Because of the USB 3.0 ports on the JCA374, wireless peripherals such as mice, keyboards may lag and this is due to radio interference between the USB 3.0 port and the wireless dongle. In such cases, we recommend using wired or Bluetooth as a work around. If the JCA374 is overall determined to be defective, our products are covered under a 2 year manufacturer's warranty and we will be glad to exchange it for you if necessary. Technical assistance is only a call, chat session away with it's info printed on the casing, thank you.
