Posted .Hello and thanks for reviewing the JCA374; because the HDMI port is PnP, it requires that the computer support DP alt-mode/Thunderbolt 3 to function as intended. It is possible the computer does not support such feature. In order to narrow down the reason for this, we recommend contacting support on the casing and an agent would be happy to assist.

Small size and handy for my laptop

Posted .Devices getting warm during use can be concerning; we comprehend the situation and would like to explain the reason for it. It is normal for devices to become warm due to electricity passing through them as they are being used; in the case that the hub is becoming hot to the point where it is harming you, we strongly advise on contacting support on the casing to speak with a rep and they will be happy to exchange it for you.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.instruction manual is exceeding minimal. basically turn it on and use it. no explanation as to what the "Type C Power In" port is for, but it doesn't come with a cable that fits that port or an external power supply (a regular usb 3.0c port). but it does power up when connected to my hp laptop pc, and the usb 3.0 ports work fine. my rating is "in the middle" due to lack of manufacturer supplied instructions.
