It worked great but after 6 months, my flashdrives show as removed on my screen even though I didn'y remove the device. I've always had it on a flat surface so I thought it was a flashdrive problem but it happens for all my flashdrives. It's annoying that it pushes out everything.

Great Purchase

Hub adapter

Posted .It's possible the external SSD requires more power. Try connecting a power-brick to the USB-C power-in port on the Adapter.

Never seemed to quiet work right/consistently

I thought I had no problem completing the necessary download, but nevertheless, it just never seemed to work consistently, would not recognize ports and charger did not function. Had to return. It's possible I had a defective unit or just set it up wrong, but...just did not meet my needs in the end.

I suggest you take a moment to read the instructions and make sure your Mac is compatible with this unit. I’d suggest this unit if you need to connect to a monitor and Ethernet.

Great for charging

When connecting a second monitor, you have to unplug and re-plug in the HDMI cable 3-4 times before it recognizes the monitor. Also, using the power in feature is nice but it doesn't always work which is frustrating.

Posted .The HDMI port is PnP, no drivers needed. Please make sure your computer is up to date. Try testing with another HDMI cable, no conversions. Power-in port will only support up to 60W. If your computer is higher the 60W, it will charge slowly or charge off and on. Cordially, j5.

One issue is you are REQUIRED to install a driver on any device you use it on which for a Mac is pretty uncommon and inconvenient. My bigger issue is the poor quality of the USB-C connector. After about a month of use on the road, the metal USB-C part has become loose in the plastic housing and now requires that it be "jiggled" to work and if it shifts even a little bit you'll see the monitor/network connection.
