Product does what it says it will do. Needed to download software for the adapter to work properly with the Mac Book. downloads and installation was a bit confusing and time consuming.

I use an external mouse that requires USB A and when I plug it in to the port on the adapter there is significant delay from input to the mouse moving on my laptop screen. When I used a different USB-C to USB-A adapter, the delay went away, meaning that the cause for the delay is this adapter. The HDMI port is finicky as well and will not allow me to use a second screen at times. This is disappointing considering that this was the reason I bought this adapter.

A mini docking station like this is a good solution for a laptop user that is frequently on the go. It is small so it will not take up much space in a bag or pocket. It has ports for an additional monitor and Ethernet so you can set up your workstation anywhere.

There is often a delay, or the keyboard and mouse will stop working altogether. I have to unplug it from the J5create and put it directly into the PC so they work without interruption. One of the primary reasons I bought this device was so I didn't have to add and remove the wireless USB fob from the PC, so this is a fail.

Posted .Unfortunately, the issue that you are experiencing is likely due to radio frequencies interference (RFI) caused by USB 3.0 devices. Alternatively, we recommend that you use wireless devices which operate within the 5GHz range, as they will not encounter as much radio frequency interference with USB 3.0 devices. Or a wired device. Not Yet Fully Functional

Neither of these functions work because the company doesn’t have drivers for OS 11 - - yet. The company anticipates release of appropriate drivers in the first quarter of 2021 so I kept the device. The two USB 3.0 ports work fine so this device is not worthless - just not yet fully functional. If you are running Mac OS 11 and need the wired internet and external monitor connection right now - - do not buy this device.
