Great when it works but poorly built

Trying to use it with a charger connected causes the phone to cycle between charging and discharging every second and the adapter won't work period but without a charger connected it works once every 10 or 15 attempts. First adapter quit working entirely unexpectedly after 8 months. Will be returning and trying another brand tomorrow.
