This hub provides the proper connections you need that the laptop no longer provides. Mac users can attest to this. and for what reason? Even more thinner laptop and sub par battery life with not enough connections. Fortunatly this j5 hub fills all your on the go needs. Highly recommend this and works great with external SSD for back ups.

Cheap Solution to Work From Home

I'm now able to use my corded mouse, corded keyboard and monitor with the work laptop. 4 stars because it gets hot, more like very warm, while in use.

NOTE doesn’t work if I also try to plug in my keyboard/mouse usb in addition to the two monitors (it will glitch out) BUT I think they note this in the description that it shouldn’t be used to power more than one monitor so couldn’t be mad! I believe if I used a power cord that delivered more power it would work better, but haven’t tried that yet.

I use it to achieve samsung dex on my galaxy s21 ultra to my tv. I have a mouse and keyboard attached and it keeps my phone nicely charged. Most usb devices like flash drives and xbox one controllers are recognized when attatched.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as advertised, just plug one end into a Thunderbolt inlet and as in my case a Dell 15 XPS 9520 supports 2 usb and 1 hdmi as well as a usb c.usb The Dell came with a short male plugin 1 usb and 1 hdmi and with the item i bought from best buy i am now able to use virtual reality., that is 1 hdmi fromt item i bought at best buy and the other hdmi port from the miniature receptacle from dell
