I’ve ordered better adapters off of Amazon for a fraction of the price and better build quality. It feels cheaply made and it’s totally plastic. It works fine. I haven’t had it long enough to see how well it holds up through travel.

Posted .The USB-C Multi-Port Hub with Power Delivery will get warm when it's transferring data or charging devices connected to it, particularly if you have several things connected at once. The constant transfer between the two causes the heat up as it takes energy to move data. Through repetitive use, excess energy is used and transformed into heat. As for the "micro chip", not sure what this is, unless you mean a memory card/micro SD card. Please contact our Technical Support Team, so that they can get more information from you.
