I've been watching the Lalanne commercials since I was a small child. I revisited my fascination with this juicer just recently (20 years later). It has been a tremendous motivation in helping to get my full value of nutrients and eat vegetables daily. It juices the fruits and veggies very well and I feel like the waste is adequate enough that I don't feel as if I'm wasting the majority of the fruit. I especially like that it comes with two recipe guides. One for juice recipes and the other for food items you can use the left over pulp in. All in all, I love it. It's a great, quality juicer . I should mention that the cleanup process makes me lazy. The pulp and unblendable parts get caught in the top and blade. You may be turned off by it if your mind is fixated on hand washing everything. I have a quick and easy solution: throw it in your dishwasher. It works for me!

After comparing other juicers we decided to go with the Jack Lalanne. This is the first time we have juiced and it has been a good experience so far. The juicer was easy to setup and to keep from having a big mess we put a bag in the container that holds the pulp and then add it to our compost. You get of juice and less pulp. I would recommend this juicer to anyone especially if your new to juicing. The book gives alot of great tips and recipes to try.

Be sure to read the manual before juicing, or you will end up with a mess. With the proper information at hand I became a juicing pro in a day! Only issue I have is with the cleanup but as suggested in the manual, line the cup that catches all the pulp with a baggie and save some mess!

This juicer is really quiet and really easy to use. It is also very easy to take apart and clean. We've used it almost every day since we opened it for Christmas! My husband loves the opportunity to drink fresh and healthy juices! Our whole family gets involved in the juicing process, and my daughter loves to put the fruits in the machine!

Easy to operate but the only downfall of the juicer is that the residue or the pulp of the fruit is much more than i anticipate.

This juicer works great and is well worth the money. Tried lots of different combinations of fruits and vegetables. A piece of advise, go easy on the ginger root. Just a little bit gives you lots of flavor. Awesome product.

Good product at a great price..thanks to Best Buy. I researched tons of juicers..and after reading tons of reviews..and checking several out first hand..I ended up with this quality unit. My wife suggested I check Kohls and Walmart. Both had it available at a decent price, but I am a loyal BB customer..and I thought, why not check there? Anyway..to make a long story short. I am a happy customer. Mostly because..in the end..Best Buy had the better price. Even with $25 Kohls cash I still came out ahead by nearly $20 more dollars!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a juicer. Quality product, good performance, quiet

This is a pretty good juicer. It was my first juicer and I think it will last a while. The only complaint I have is that it often leaves very wet pulp inside that could have probably yielded more juice. Other than that its great!

excellent product for those who want to start a change from poor eating habit. Also it is a great motivational tool that will have us thinking a little more about our health, and allow simple access for making a good worthwhile snack supplement. Use it in good health.

I ended up returning this item, do to the fact that I don't have time to bake or cook with the discarded pulp as suggested. I liked the idea , but thought better to try a type of blender /juicer that will chop up and juice the entire fruit or veggie.

Just started juicing and I can't believe how easy it is and all the delicious recipes that are available. I would highly recommend this product.

overall great for just juicing. do not buy if looking to make smoothies. clean up is time consuming, could be better thought out.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she hasn't stopped using it. She has made us all healthy juices.

Was never able to use it since it would not even turn on. Took it right back to Best Buy and purchased a different brand.
