For a Tom Cruise movie, it's one of my favorites. But that's just me, i guess. As for the quality of this 4k release, it's nothing to write home about. The picture quality is great, so if thats your main focus you should be happy. The sound really doesn't have many shining moments, but that really isn't why someone should want this movie. The real positive about this movie is it's story.

I think that "Jack Reacher" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "Jack Reacher" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and exciting personal storyline.

Love this movie , I’m most impressed with Cruise. He’s not 6’5” but he embodies what the character is and made me a Reacher , reader. The Colors are are strong and balanced. The details are sharper . Some areas go soft but I feel it was a style choice . Gun shots are crisp and it has one of the best scores in recent history (it’s a throw back to 70’s cinema)

A lot of people like to criticize Tom Cruise in this role, but I absolutely love this movie. It feels like the kind of action movie that should have been released in the 1990's, but that doesn't mean this one isn't loads of fun. 4K looks and sounds great too!

I had wanted to see Jack Reacher when it was in the theaters but missed my window of opportunity. I'm a fan of Tom Cruise and he didn't disappoint as Jack Reacher, I tend to like Cruise best as the cocky type, think Top Gun, Mission Impossible, etc. and the Reacher character played right into his wheel house. Good action, fair plot, and kept me interested up to the end. Plus a bargain price.

This is a great movie type for Tom Cruise to be in. It fits in with his great Mission Impossible series (4 so far) of films. I hope he continues making more Jack Reacher movies also along with more MI movies. Plenty of police drama with standing up to people who are bad or won't listen to reason. My wife enjoyed watching this movie with me very much. The Blu-ray release is the best version to watch.

Not a big fan of Tom Cruise but I really liked this movie. I was told by friends that it was stupid so, I watched it to judge for myself. I thought it was good enough to want to own. (Note: Don't be deceived by the item picture. Mine only came with a Blu-ray disc and no DVD or digital copy. Went and read the item specs and it only listed the Blu-ray disc and nothing else.)

As Lee Child's literary figure Jack Reacher, Tom Cruise pulls off a remarkable job of blowing the lid off a conspiracy surrounding an accused sniper, a man Reacher once attempted to try in a court-martial before the top brass dismissed the case. Taken from the novel "One Shot", Reacher finds that many elements are aligned against him and his allies on the case as he digs deeper. This is one movie well worth a look.

An ex military sniper is arrested for killing five random people and severely beaten. Before he slips into unconsciousness he asks for Jack Reacher. Jack arrives and notices that things don't add up. The evidence is too easily found. Someone is following him and when hired goons try to get rid of him he knows for sure something bigger is going on.

Not as good as the 1st but still a must see if you saw 1 you must see where 2 takes you

Tom's Jack will never be back (that's okay, the new show rocks too), and there's no better way to enjoy his take on the character than this first entry, especially in this incredible 4K steelbook edition.

I thought I may have liked this around the time the sequel was released so naturally I eventually saw the sequel Never Go Back and man that was a tough watch lol. So when I seen this marked down I decided to pick it up and watching it after 5 years I gotta say it's miles ahead of the sequel. Tom Cruise is just one of the best.

This movie is a lot better than I expected. It is based on the Jack Reacher novels. Jack is an ex-MP who is off the grid. A man who is accused of murder asks Jack to prove he is innocent, but Jack thinks he is guilty as well. This movie proves that gratuitous s*x is not needed in a movie. In fact, there is no s*x at all... The plot holds the whole movie together.

Deal of the Day purchase in 4K UHD format. Okay movie with nice power cars for all domestic manufacturers. Interesting story line resulting in me reading more Lee Child novels. Recommending but remember it's another action packed Tom Cruise movie.

The new Prime series is a better representation of the books, but this is still a good film. Werner Herzog needs to do more acting. Nice looking Steelbook too.

I enjoyed this movie when it was an original theatrical release. I recently read several of the Jack Reacher novels; it was interesting that Tom Cruise does not match the description of Reacher in the novels, but Cruise manages pretty successfully to ignore this aspect of the novels. A good action flick altogether.

great movie….. not a fan of his personal life but he makes incredible movies…. 4k transfer is superb it’s a great action movie well worth the extra money i recommend it to anyone who loves mystery, action and intrigue

Great Flick looks awesome on ultra 4 K. I upgraded my blu-ray disk for this product and the HDR ultra 4k disk does not disappoint. The Dolby DTS Master audio is crisp and clear..and must have for any Jack Reacher or Tom Cruise Fan.

Interesting movie if you like the Reacher novels. Video and sound were both good. Only problem was I think Tom Cruise was miscast as Jack Reacher. Read discription in novels. Otherwise good action flick.
