The Jawbone Up2 was my first band. After researching the best option for me, I went to the store looking for the previous Up band. I ran into the Up2 and decided to give it a shot, even after most complaints were about the closure on the band. After using for a few weeks, I loved the information it tracked and the small challenges through the app, based on your use. What I didn't like was the loosening of the clasp after a few weeks of use. It's difficult to keep the band tight and I have found the band on the floor without knowing it fell off. I would not recommend this band simply because of the poor structure of the closure. The band is useless if it falls off without me knowing.

Overall, the product functions as promised. Sleep tracking is GREAT! The available on-line information regarding health and product contents is wonderful for those counting calories. Jawbone modified the bracelet design for this product, yet it is still hard to clasp and unclasp. This is why I did not give it 5 STARS

Love my Jawbone Up2. It has great features such as sleep tracking, exercise tracking and food tracking. The only downfall I would say, is it isn't 100% accurate at the sleep tracking. There have been times that I have woken up in the middle of the night and it said that I slept through, but overall I am VERY satisfied

I am glad I bought this. Seems like a bracelet and people don't even realize its a fitness tracker. The app works great and my I feel more active as tracker shows notifications in app which tells you if you are doing good or lagging behind. Based on your usage the notifications become more specific and helps you according to you needs. I have been more active since the time I started using this. Setting this up was a breeze, works with Bluetooth and app is simple to understand. Automatically tracks your sleep when you sleep thanks to the new software update.

Easy to wear and use daily. The Fitbit is easy to understand and gives helpful advice. I like the daily challenges. I don't like how I have to get the charger to work. I do like the fact that it stays charged for ten days. This is an excellent buy.

If you are really interested in tracking your steps, movement, workout and diet, this thing is perfect. The price jump for the next model (Up3) with the heart rate tracker is pretty big for not a lot of bang. It measures your resting heart beat. That's it. Maybe with future updates if it can track you heartbeat full time it would be worth getting the Up3. For now, if you want fitness tracker that does just that, this is it. Some people have complained about the clasp opening up, and that does happen sometimes. It was more frequent at the beginning. Make minor adjustments to the clasp, moving up to be a little tighter after it comes off and eventually it will be in the right spot to stop coming off, and still remain comfortable. Now that the software updated and you don't have to "tap" to tell it you are asleep it couldn't be easier to use.

I love the design of the Up2. The mobile app is what really made me decide to go to jawbone. It's more modern and integrated with fitness apps. The only concern is that i wish that the band would tell you how far you're to your goal like how the fitbit does (4 dots to determine your progress to your goal).

This was a free gift with my Samsung phone - and I'm surprised at how much I use it. I track my steps, have 3 day duels with my husband and monitor my sleep. I also use it as an alarm clock in the mornings - never would have bought one before - but if I lost this one, I might spend money to replace it!

I got this as a gift for my sister. She has a tiny wrist and loves that the size is adjustable and fits her comfortably, which is generally not the case with adjustable items. It keeps her informed of her sleeping and exercise habits with ease.

If you don't want to spend to much of money on costly fitness tracking device then jawbone is the answer for you problem. IT is a trendy looking, reliable and awesome device with the all the fitness tracking features you would ever want

I own the fitbit and was given this as a free gift for my phone upgrade. I gave it to my daughter who absolutely loves it. Lots of great features, lightweight and easy to use.

My band fell off my arm and was lost in 14 day. I called Jawbone and they replaced it plus sent me a safety Gard. I love the look of this band the app and how it helps coach me. I even find the sleep information interesting not sure how to change my sleep but info is good to know!

Pros: nice thin design, good battery. Cons: came off my wrist offen, not great at sleep monitoring compared to the UP24

I love the way this one charges. I had a previous version and it was plugged into the phone. If my phone was low on charge it took forever to charge. This model has a USB charger and it magnetically attaches. You know it's properly connected when you see the lights consecutively light up. It charges quick too. The battery lasts a long time and I can keep it on when I shower. The downside is the way it can unhook and start to fall off of your wrist. This wasn't a solid design as far as keeping it on. However, that is only a minor irritation, but the sole reason it didn't get 5 stars. I even prefer this app to the old one.

Works better than the older version, the app needs some fine tuning( OS 9 iPhone 6 ) , but overall is a great product and has been redesign to avoid the pitfalls of the previous versions. The only problem I had is the way you have to activate the band to wake up or put to sleep .

I "upgraded" from the UP24 to the UP2 and I have mixed feelings. I like the new design. I have any issues with the clasped & is splash resistance. The step count on the other hand is about half off. I took 200 steps & it only counted 109. The distance is off as well. I walked 2.04 miles, but the band calculated 2.20. I had similar results doing other tests. I've contacted Jawbone, but still waiting for a response. I liked that you could calibrate the UP24 and correct the distance if necessary. This band doesn't allow that option though. After I talk to them hopefully I can get better accuracy.

I upgraded from first UP band to the UP2 and really like it. Very lightweight, easier to charge than the FitBit (my husband has that.) Would give it a 5 but it lost my data one day due to a glitch. The UP folks said it would come back, but never did. Overall happy with product.

Prior to this purchase I had an UP24 and I have to say that this up band is much better. With my old band it would get caught on the cuff of my sleeve or on little items here and there. With this band and its clasp it fits just like a watch. I've seen other posts where people have said that they have had it fall or fly off while using it. I figured id put that to the test so I took it with me for a weekend trip to Disneyland. While there I made sure to keep my hands in the air during all of the fast rides, and dead drops at the park. My band NEVER CAME OFF during my entire trip and still till this very day unless I have unhooked the clasp to take it off myself. To those who are skeptical I would say try it, if you don't like it then all you do is take it back.

The band is a perfect product for keeping track of your steps and also sleep.. I purchase an iWatch personally didn't seem much use when it came to health kit.. But the Up customizes and motivates you and gives you suggestions on what u can do better to get better rest.
