Excellent quality all the way around. This is my fifth JBL speaker and I’ve never been disappointed. After comparing this with my Charge 4, it definitely has better instrument separation and it gets a bit louder, not really worth it if you already have a Charge 4 in my opinion. Compared to the Flip 5, the Charge 5 has better separation, but overall sounds very similar; the Charge 5 is mainly louder, which is expected given the size difference. I can guarantee that you’ll be impressed with whichever JBL speaker you choose.

I don't think I have ever gone wrong with a JBL product. If it's got JBL on it, it's going to do what it describes in its product listing. This speaker sounds better than any other iterations of the Charge speakers that I've owned. My only disappointments with the speaker is the 3.5mm jack is gone. The other is the battery life is not 20 hours. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours at 3/4 volume at work. The sound is beyond amazing for this little tube!

perfect speaker for inside the house. Not too big and it sounds great.

I would 100% recommend these. I would say buy multiple if you have a big area and maybe some smaller ones and you can have yourself some real good sound.

Besides having great sound quality it is also waterproof and drop proof. I take it to the river everytime.

The charge 5 is a good utility speaker for in and out door usesge. The music is clean and clear with great highs and lows that let the voices come thought unmuttered with thumping bass that makes listening a pleasure.

Excellent sound and all you need for beach travel. Much easier to pack and carry around vs the larger ones. The tiny one was not enough / the larger size no fun to pack and carry - this size is just right. Also bought the carrying case with a strap for $20 to hang it on chairs etc while on the beach.

Recently bought the UE Megaboom 3 and was greatly disappointed by its mediocre sound quality. Went back to the store and decided to purchase the Charge 5 instead. Finally got it out of the box and played some music and was instantly amazed by the sound quality of this thing! The !JBL Charge 5 put the UE to shame! It made the Megaboom 3 sound like a toy/can. Definitely one of the best purchases by !JBL I've made!

I personally love the sound it give out and the fact that I walk around with it holding it like a football sometimes just blasting my music in my hands. Planning getting more to max out the sound while I at home . It’s going to be sick

The speaker includes good bass and treble. Its also great for outside and partying.

i’ve had it for a while already and it’s amazing i bring it everywhere i go like the beach i attach it to the board when im surfing and everything beautiful speaker. Still in super good condition. i bring it when i travel too
