The subwoofer needs its own volume control cuz I'm getting good treble out of the sound bar but the sub is bearly even thumping

We threw away the damaged box or else I would definitely return it. You have no control over base and treble. No any kind of eq. Just presets. It’s not very loud and quite often you have to unplug it from everything in order for it to work again. Do not buy!!!!! Sad because we bought it because we love our other JBL products.
