I got 3 Bluetooth speakers around my house, this JBL 300 is the the best sound and smooth bass, I love it very much.

This unit has Google Assistant installed and works great. Being from JBL, it has the full rich sound that you would expect.

Bought this speaker on clearance. In Bluetooth mode, not many better speakers for the price. On the app, however, tells me the song playing, but not the artist. Also inconsistent connecting to my tv and performing commands. Also does not understand my voice well. First world problems, but doesn’t always hear me when I say “hey google.”

Has google assistant built in. Easy to pair. Great sound and bass. Really fills a room.

We ended taking this back to the store, We purchased the Harmon Kardon onyx studio 4 and could not get it to connect to our smart display so we purchased the Jbl 300 why it was on sale then we figured out how to connect the Harmon Kardon to our display and the sound is way more amazing so we ended up returning the Jbl

very good sound quality but I have a hard time setting it up with the different Apps I have on my phone... ie.. Pandora and XM radio. I should be able to just come up to it and ask google to play something but it keeps on saying I need to download app which I already had done... I hope I will be able to figure it out soon...

This little speaker is loud and it has great bass. My kids love the alarm feature. Downside: it needs to be plugged in at all times, the range to your phone is not ideal and it doesn’t always catch your “Hey google” all the time. I love it either way.

So with the current craze of voice assistants for the home, JBL jumped onto the speaker+Assistant train and came out with several speakers with Google Assistant. I got to try this out for an honest review so here it goes. Already owning a Google home, I wondered how the JBL would differ from the Google home. The first thing is that the JBL is larger and has a beautiful rounded design to it. Almost reminds me of an old-school tape/cd player, minus the tape, of course. However, the back of the unit has a round disc for it's bass. As far as sound goes, this speaker satisfies. I won't say it blew me away, but with nice bass and mid tones, it delivers pleasant sound. It can get loud if needed. With regards to Google Assistant, it works practically flawlessly. The two tiny mics on it pick up my voice at normal volume even from 20 feet away without issues. The buttons are intuitive and pairing it up with my Google home app was very easy. If desired, the unit also had blue tooth so you can play your music on it without Google Assistant. I wish it had an audio jack but that is not the case. Overall, if you want audio improvement over the original Google home, go for it, it doesn't disappoint.

The sales person at the store told me that this product would play audio from my Vizio Smart TV using the Google assistant. It doesn't. Although I really love the sound quality and the other features, it did not do the main thing I wanted it for.

Bought this for my garage and it is awesome. I did have some trouble at fist trying to get it connected to my network, with a little patients and a google search I was able to fix the issue and now it works fine. The sound is everything you would expect from JBL.

Pros : JBL Sound Quality Cons : Issues with connecting Google Assistant Voice is not strong enough to use it in a big living room. Cord needs to be connected all the time.
