I have enjoyed this speaker out by the pool, camping and backyard BBQ'. Everyone is impressed with the quality of the sound and specifically with the bass. It's battery lasts long a makes for an enjoyable experience.

I have done plenty of research and this is the best speaker you can buy under $300. I purchased this on Black Friday for a great price to make it even sweeter. Get this Bluetooth speaker!

Started w Party 360 by Brookstone, but this is better. It doesn’t have quite the bass, but their bass came w annoying vibration. Great all around sound, easy to use, goes anywhere, compact. Perfect purchase!

We bought this product so that the kids would have music to listen to via some Blu-tooth device (iPad, phone etc) instead of having to hear it from their devices. Great purchase for sure and what great sound. Even on the highest volume setting, no distortion and I like the fact you can buy another a link them wirelessly to each other for even more sound. Great to take out while on the patio or at bar-b-que's. Great price too when I got it ($249).

Love it. Water resistant, portable, loud bass, and clarity. What more can you ask for already and great product.

For the size of this speaker it blew me away. I thought that the beats XL was great, but this speaker made the beats sound like garbage. This speaker has great quality and the bass doesn't flood the vocals. I recommend this product to all of my friends and family. I'm thinking about purchasing a second one.

I bought this as a gift for someone. He was so excited he had to demonstrate how powerful this little guy was. I was blown away about how loud and clear this speaker is. The bass was amazing. I didn't hear any kind of buzzing, crackling or muffled sounds. He hasn't tried to use it in any kind of water so I have no idea how waterproof it is, but judging from the casing I am sure its good. I will definitely be buying this speaker for myself.

Very portable decent sound, but wish it was louder

As a proud owner of speakers and headsets made by BEATS I was hesitant to step out of my comfort zone and spend $300 on this JBL portable speaker. Turns out it was a great decision. Not only is the sound quality amazing but the portability factor is huge. Having a speaker that hold a charge the entire night for cookouts/BBQs priceless. FYI after buying this and giving it a try I donated my old beats WIRED speaker to our employee gym!

This speaker is great! I have used it in the pool area, lake, park, at work and everywhere at home. The speaker is large to the point of being cumbersome at times when moving from place to place. The sound is great, keep in mind it also depends on the quality of music you are playing. High and midrange tones can sound muffled on occasions. The battery last a long time about 11 to 12 hours, while charging a phone. This has been my favorite speaker by far.

I was not expecting the speaker to be this big! But I absolutely love it. It plays well and has a nice bass sound. Comes with a strap which I appreciate, because I can carry it around the house and play music wherever. Overall it’s a nice speaker with a large sound, perfect if you have friends over for house get-togethers or for playing music around the house. Have not tested the speaker outside yet.

This speaker is awesome has so much power I have the first model and this is the second generation and I love it !!!!! I would recommend to everyone who like bass and loud music

A lot of great sound out of such a small unit. It’s very clear and crisp and a ton of bass.

This speaker sounds great - JBL has mastered the easy Bluetooth connecting - It is a solid speaker with some weight and sturdy - great strap - looks cool af and holds a charge for hours - I use as my speaker for work throughout the day The price is high but worth it if you are constantly listening to music, audio book, news and are hosting parties. This speaker would suffice as a speaker at a New Years Party - it’s that good The only knock I have is it’s ability to connect to say an iPad and a phone and go seamless back and forth like the JBL clip does - and yes that is asking a lot considering the power this speaker has

My wife wanted the comparable Bose. The salesperson said he preferred Bose. Both the Bose and JBL were set up for demo. I've always been a JBL/Harman Kardon fan. I didn't think there was any comparison. The JBL sounded much better, hands down. Just as crisp as the Bose with a much better bass. After having them both compare both speakers, both my wife and salesperson were sold on the JBL. This JBL Extreme delivers a room-full of sound!
