With the Digital age I think this is just a good story based alittle off the cartoon, that really could happen or has not sure which. Love the DVD and Digital.

Ever since I first saw this movie I fell in love with it

I remember watching the cartoon when I was a kid. I was excited when they had the trailer. But then once I watched it, I was disappointed. It had nothing to do the cartoon. However after watching the movie, my kids loved it. It kind of reminds me of the movie Lenonade Mouth. If your kids liked that movie, then this is it.

For those of us who grew up watching cartoons as a kid, Jem and the Holograms was part of our saturday morning memories. This new take on that classic cartoon is a fun, musical blast. The acting wasn't the best, the story just ok, but the music was great and made the movie worth watching and owning.

Well, this movie did very poorly at the box office, but my twelve year old daughter & I really liked it. Lots of music, some of the characters we recognized from Disney shows, it was a cute movie. Nothing really inappropriate for young girls.

Although the Box office didn’t show it the producer follows the original concept and it’s a shame that they didn’t create part 2. Only flop was timing of debut I believe

followed the 80's cartoon enough for me to remember how the show was, very enjoyable, good songs, great for teaching young women about being strong and powerful

Bought this movie for my daughter, as she really, really, really had to have it (Her words), got home and watched it with her, and was actually entertained by it. A must have for any young girl.

I never watched the original cartoon tv show but I enjoyed this movie. I give it a C rating though. It's not the greatest but it's pretty good in my opinion from never seeing the tv show.

My girls really enjoyed the movie. They knew about Jem on watching old shows and I am not going to lie of course they enjoyed the movie more than the cartoon.

I love this movie and some of the songs are quite catchy. I grew up watching the Jem cartoon so I was curious to watch this movie. Enjoyed it so much, I bought it!

A decent film that didn't get much hype. It's actually based on a old tv show cartoon of the same name. I recommend definitely seeing this movie

My daughter really enjoys this movie. So much that we decided it was easier to buy so she could watch it anytime she liked.

Good story,great songs,bad acting,didn't follow the Excellent cartoon at all ! If you like loser movies, this one's for you!

This was a great film, it transitions great from it originally being a kids cartoon into a movie. My daughters loved it.

We liked the music and the story behind this movie. It didn't do very well in the theater, but we found it enjoyable.

The music was awesome and the acting was pretty good. The storyline was just like the cartoon of the 80's.

Good for a movie not good for a jem and the holograms movie. It would stand alone as a good movie
