I received this radio. I put in new batteries that I bought at Best Buy. I turned it on and it played for less than five minutes. It broke...and while still on, the radio became very hot. In short, this Jensen radio is a piece of junk. My wish.... I wish someone would produce a QUALITY SOUND, AM/FM, portable, SMALL in size, battery/AC chord radio that would work! I'd pay a lot more money eagerly if it were a quality radio!

I still have it, but am going to trash it and caulk it up to a bad buy,

This looked fine as it was cheap, small, and basic. The tuning was not easy (the knob turned just fine) as an AM station would not come in gradually but bang, all of a sudden. One little bump and the station was gone. I live in the city where stations are plentiful so this should have been a piece of cake. High interference from electrical sources, much worse that my cheap transistor radio from the 60's. It was a disappointment. Maybe I need to save up for a C Crane

It doesn't easily slide open as you would expect. I literally had to pry it open with two screwdrivers. One of the worst products I've ever purchased.
