needed to run lines this was the fix I needed and is working fine

It does the job - extending two phone cables or coupling two phone lines together to the main line. What doesn't work is the price. These things used to cost a dollar or two back when land line phones were in every home or business.

this is a great tool to have< im able to plug in the land line and the answering machine to the same plug. although it was bit pricey, i saw it at a different store for less but i had already used the one i bought

The product is sufficient, however I was hoping it didn't require a third phone cord. The product still completes the job and it works quite well, I like the ease of faxing and calling without swapping jacks.

This is a good coupler. Have been using it since I bought it and have had no problems with my speakers not performing and it gives me the length I need to be able to move the speakers away from my PC

Simple device - allows two lines out of one phone jack. We use it to allow phone line (with filter) in same jack as DSL modem. You MUST use a filter if you share a jack with a DSL modem.

Needed something to hook up the router to the phone line and computer. Phone jack on one side of the room, computer on other side. This in-line coupler resolved the problem.

I had several of these couplers but they didn't securely "click" into the socket so my phone wouldn't work. I bought this one at Best Buy and it "clicked" into the socket and my phone is finally working again. It was more expensive than the others I bought at another store but this one feels way more sturdy. Lesson learned...you get what you pay for.

Was able to connect phone line in basement using 2 separate phone cords and bringing phone upstairs. Flexibility of this was exactly what I needed.

We needed to extend the phone line to be able to move it to the other side of the desk. This was a great alternative to having a line reinstalled on the other side of the wall. It was just enough of a splitter to give us what we needed. We just plugged it in and reconnected the lines to it and it worked out great

I needed a phone line splitter allowing 2 lines from one phone jack. In the past, I've had a splitter with a male end that plugged into the wall phone jack and that produced 2 output jacks. To use 2 phones, you needed only 2 lines. This splitter has no male end. The input jack on this device takes a phone line plug and the 2 output jacks also take phone line plugs. So, from the phone jack in the wall to your 2 phones, you need 3 phone lines: one from the wall jack to the splitter and two from the splitter to the two phones. That actually works better for me with less wiring needed since both of my phones are some distance from the wall jack but close to one another. I thus need only one long line, from wall jack to the splitter, and 2 short lines from splitter to phones. My old splitter with the male plug-in would have required two long lines. The fit of phone line plugs into this splitter is snug in all 3 plug-in sockets, giving a good phone connection for both phones.

I looked in several stores before I found this at Best Buy. Sales staff were very helpful.

It does the job well and was an inexpensive way for us to do what we needed.
