    These are the best sounding earbuds that I have listened to! The stereo separation is great and gives the impression of a 3d soundstage. I have listened to music in mp3 format at 320 kbps and WMA Lossless which tops out at just under 1000 kbps and they both sound great. The tonal balance is perfect for my tastes, crisp highs, plenty of mids and more low end than I have heard in other ear buds. At full volume I found no distortion at all. I found myself noticing sounds that I hadn't previously noticed in familiar songs. These sound better than ear buds I have paid 2 1/2 times as much for. I love the Be Aware function. The Be Aware mode picks up outside sounds so that you can simultaneously listen to music and hear what's going on around you. I am able to have a conversation with my wife while listening to my music. The app lets you adjust the amount of outside sound coming through to your situation. I have used this while my wife watches TV shows and can adjust it to where I get just enough outside sound to know when she is talking to me (instead of me being oblivious as usual). I've tested the noise cancelling in front of TV noise at home and in a couple of loud restaurants and it works fine. These are not places I normally want noise cancelling. The only places I usually want noise cancelling are trains, subways and planes. Due to Covid 19, I am not traveling or using public transportation so while those tests remain, I can tell that the noise cancelling works well. Like the Be Aware function, the noise cancelling is controlled from the app with a slider. I was able to set the noise cancelling to the perfect level from within the app. These ear buds also let you use Google voice assistant or Siri with the tap of a bud. The EQ presets can be toggled through from the ear bud buttons or completely adjusted in the app. There is an optical sensor in each bud that senses when a bud has been removed and pauses the music. The battery life has been great. There is a lot to love about these ear buds! If I could make 2 changes. 1. I wish there were smaller tips for ear buds. My wife and I have yet to find a pair that were truly comfortable for a long session. 2. These, like all of the Bluetooth speakers, headphones, earbuds and wired earbuds leave me wishing for a bit more volume at times.

    One earbud was not getting charged.

    Bought them for our son for birthday. On the first day one of the earbuds stopped working. The issue was that only one was charging. The charger was charging only one of them. Could not charge the other one. The light will never turned on. Unfortunately we had to purchase something else more expensive

    Probably one of the worst purchases I've made. Absolutely useless headphones. My music pauses every 3 seconds while walking, because the 'sensor' somehow cannot detect my ear. I've tried all the earbud options, so I don't wanna hear about having the wrong size. Avoid these headphones and pay more for better quality.

    I would suggest you buy another headset.. I had it for 5 days and no one could hear me when I use them.. In the box the manufacturer put a note that they were aware of them being muffled when I talk through them.. That was a understatement.. I downloaded the app and that did not help either.. Just buy something else so you don’t have to return later.

    The JLab Epic Air ANC are excellent headphones for the price. Unfortunately, they fall down right where they claim their largest advantage lies. Build quality appears excellent, as I would expect from my previous JLAB experience. Pairing is simple, and battery life is very good. The recharging case does an excellent job, although compared to the compact size of the Jabra or the pebble design of the LG Tone, it looks quite clunky. One advantage is it has a built-in cable, so you don't have to go looking for a cord. The units themselves are comfortable, but they have the weird "drip" shape popularized by Apple. Audio quality is quite good. While no one is going to mistake them for the excellent reproduction of Jabra or Sony models, they'll hold their own against the Bose SoundSport buds. There is no artificial bass boost here, which is good, but the entire bottom end seems a bit off. The foam earpieces help considerably with this, which makes me wonder if perhaps the silicone tips don't just fit me that well. If you've ever wanted to pretend that you were a robot, these are great for making calls. They give your voice a steely, computer-generated quality that is at best distracting And what about that automatic noise cancellation? Well, as I said in the title, it seems to be faith based. You push on the left earbud to cycle through "Be Aware," "Noise Cancelling On," and "Noise Cancelling Off" modes. To test, I played music through my phone speaker, set up a consistent tapping noise, and had someone speak to me in a conversational voice, while cycling through each mode. The only noticeable difference was that the earbud announced the mode when I pushed the button. Perhaps if you have enough faith, you can start to believe in JLab's ANC. For the rest of us, it's worth spending more to get real noise cancellation

    These are five stars for features and sound at the price point. I have higher end buds that provide better separation of sound and cleaner lows, but the JLabs are the best I have tried in this middle price range. The case itself is higher end than the price. You can tell the charge of each bud from the case, and it charges wirelessly on a Qi pad. The closure is magnetic as are the slots for the buds. Everything just fits and holds as it should. JLabs also includes tips of three sizes and materials so you’re not stuck with silicone if you prefer memory foam. Read the instructions prior to use. These little buds do a lot from the touch commands on each one. The touch control is not hard to get used to because the buds are textured to help you know where you’re touching. Bluetooth connection worked well from my rear pocket to the buds in my ears. Neither drops during a walk or run. The fit I. My ears is wonderful. I like the “toothbrush” shape because it stays in my ears. The stems are short and unobtrusive, and the buds are black—a welcome change from bright white. As for the sound, without comparing directly to a high end brand, that’s little buds are rich and have terrific bass! There is a bass boost that actually works without distortion. You can turn it off and on from the touch control on the bud. You can also turn noise cancelling and ambient sound off and on with touch controls. That feature alone puts these top of class. But the sound is impressive. I used them for music and podcasts, and am satisfied with build and sound quality, comfort, function, and they stay in my ears! Money well spent without breaking the bank.

    Effective Noise Cancelling

    Excellent ear buds with all the needed features. Bluetooth pairing was immediate and easily accomplished. The fit and finish is beautiful. The case charges the buds and allows wireless or wired charging. The quick start guide was precise in words and figures. I paired to cell and also to laptop. Worked flawlessly either way. The control functions are very well thought out; none of the weird crazy extensive tapping of some buds. I did notice that sometimes the noise cancelling feature was required to reduce some small amount of buzzing – but it was easy to turn on and completely eliminated the noise. I suspect this is not due to the ear buds, but rather just my immediate environment. The good news is the feature is there and works great. You can and should download the Jlab Air ANC app as it provides additional options including setting equalizer. You will probably have to update the firmware when you first open the app. The buds worked perfectly taking cell calls. Several sets of ear foam are provided. I found the correct one for me and it was very comfortable to listen for over an hour. The ear buds secured very nicely in the ear. I noted that for normal exercising they are fine; for example just a treadmill. For running and jumping I felt an over the ear attachment would be better. If the over the ear bud types make your ears a little sore, I could recommend these ear buds and just use a little larger foam to ensure they stay put for more active exercising. These earbuds overall are first-rate and I do recommend them.

    Poor quality control first pair I got neither earbud would turn on returned then and got a second pair this time only one of the ear buds would turn on followed all of their trouble shooting guidelines but nothing helped

    For the price these aren’t that bad. These are active noise cancelling earbuds and for under $150 these have fairly good battery life and ANC. They don’t passively seal that great but the ANC is decent and the SQ isn’t bad. Inside the box you get the buds , case which has a USB type A cable on it plus is able to charge wireless, different tips and foam tips which I do suggest using. The battery life is around 7+ hours with ANC on per charge which isn’t bad.

    Can only get one headset to work Trying to get to a bestbuy to return them but live over a hour away and dont have a computer or printer to print up a return label Wont buy again

    These earbuds were only suppose to be temporary until my AirPods came in. They were exactly that!!! Never a very good fit. So glad my AirPods only took 2 days to arrive. Sheesh!!!!
