Only when you are in a quiet area will it seem loud. Anywhere else, you can ear the external noise around you.

Entire reason to purchase is HiRes support, but they will not stay on LDAC. EVERY time they connect I must go to phone developer options and select LDAC, yet again. They reset to AAC every time they connect to the phone. Anker headphones have no such issue. Also, you cannot power them off without either putting into the charging case or turning off bluetooth on your phone and waiting 3 minutes, which is pretty terrible design. They don't sound terrible for earbuds, IF you go to developer options on EVERY connection and set the codec to LDAC. But, the JLab app has no way to set this, which makes it basically useless for anything but updating firmware. Very glad I got a sale price.

Bought these JLab hoping for a good experience, Sound quality was not good, fit was uncomfortable and hurt my ears.
Returned them the following day,, Not a good buy for the price!

The fit is not good if you wear glasses like I do not only that I can't figure out how to make it have the noise reduction all the time and then it's got static in it at different times and it doesn't hear well when I'm trying to call out for texting

The JLab - Epic Sport ANC 3 True Wireless Earbuds are an affordable set of sports earbuds with Active Noise Canceling. They're not really meant to be a replacement for much more expensive, better sounding earbuds from other brands but they do well enough. Sound quality and volume is superior thanks to the hybrid two driver design that covers bass, mids and highs quite well from 20Hz to 40KHz.
The charging case is unique as it has a short built-in USB-C cable that's a convenient feature. It also has a standard USB-C port and can do wireless charging. The only gripe I have with the case is its size, quite large compared to other earbuds I have. That’s because it needs to fit the sport ear hooks, but thankfully also for an additional 50 hours or charging capacity on top of the 10+ hours in the earbuds themselves.
Pairing them with my Android phone was quick and easy, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 support. I played a few Amazon Music tunes and YouTube videos and tried out the EQ settings and Bass Boost available in the JLab App. The Active Noise canceling can also be changed with the App from Off to On or Awareness mode which will allow surrounding sounds to pass through the mics into the earbuds. They do a decent job blocking the ambient noise but you have to make sure the silicone in-ear tips form a good seal. Make sure you try all 5 sizes to determine what works best and is most comfortable for you.
The touch controls are pretty intuitive and can also be customized through the App. I found the touch and swipe-up/down for volume to be a very useful feature. Also both earbuds have the same controls, so you don’t have to remember different commands for your left or right hands. Overall if you’re on a limited budget and are not expecting audiophile level sound, these will do a great job, especially for your workout sessions.

Ive gobe through three sets of these headphones and only one set has worked. Two of the sets everytime only one earbud would pair and most of the time the other earbud wouldnt even show it had charged or show a flashing light when trying to pair it wiyh my phone.
