Most people collect stamps, coins etc., me, I seem to collect Headphones, all kinds, all prices. I have in ear buds wired and wireless (Bluetooth), over the ear both wired and wireless (Bluetooth). I’m still searching for that perfect fit, comfortable with excellent sound. I do a lot of walking and exercising on my stationary bike. The JLAB Flex Wireless headphones, so far, have come the closest to what I look for in a good pair of over the ear headphones. They aren’t perfect, but for the price, they are better than some of the expensive ones out there.
As I said before, I like to walk outside and with the weather starting to get colder, these headphones serve 2 purposes, I can listen to my music/audio books, and because the ear pads are cloth, they also keep my ears warm. The pads are also washable either by hand or in a machine (they come with a nice cloth padded pouch that you can put them in to wash in a machine). They are lightweight and surprisingly comfortable. The ear pads wide enough and soft enough to wear over glasses without discomfort. The pads also come off easily for washing. Washing instructions are included in the user instruction pamphlet. They are clearly marked with a large L or R for left and right for the best performance. The controls are easily accessible and large enough without having to fumble around feeling for them.
Connecting the Flexsport via Bluetooth is easy. I connected them to my Smartphone, tablet, laptop and iPad with ease. It only took about a minute to connect to each device. The Get Started Guide included is easy to follow with good diagrams and instructions. It also beeps and has a voice that tells when they are paired, connected, disconnected and the battery charge.
The headband itself is a fixed size and doesn’t extend or contract, so it’s a little tight when I try to put it over a ball cap. The Flexsport does come with a headband pad that clips on the inside of the band to make it shorter and more comfortable if needed and is stretchable so can be placed anywhere inside the band. The band itself is hard plastic and not padded. The headphones come with 2 tension bands one Firm Fit (tighter for exercising) and one Flex Fit for general wearing. Both tension bands are clearly marked on the inside as to which one is which. The padded case included is multifunctional and well made. It’s large enough to hold the headphones, charging cable and 2nd tension band. It can also be used for washing the earpads and head band pad in the washer and closes tightly with a nylon pull.
Charging: The charging port on the Flexsport is easy to find and the USB-C cord is a good length, about 42” long. The one thing they don’t come with is a wall charging adapter, that you need to purchase separately. The large Button on the outside of the R earpad turns blue with fully charged. That button is also used for turning ambient sound on and off. When turned off you can hear outside noise, within the headphones, but not too loud. That’s great if you’re outside and need to hear traffic noise or other sounds. When turned on all outside noise is muted, somewhat, better than some I’ve used.
Sound: Quality is excellent on all types of music and/or talking. The Flexsport has an EQ feature. Not the best, but you can tell the difference between Balanced and Bass Boot. The JLAB C3 Signature setting enhances vocals well. Each setting can be easily changed by pressing the large button on the outside of the R earpiece. All in all the sound quality is excellent. Clear and not stat-icky.
If you’re looking for a comfortable pair of headphones for exercising in the gym at home or taking walks, these are good for all.

Good For the Money

I use them to work out and they work very well. I also like the extra band for casual wear. However after awhile of wearing them (an hour or so) they start to hurt my ears real bad and I have to take them off. This is fine with me because I bought them purely for exercise which only takes 30-45 minutes, but it’s kind of annoying if I’m wanting to just wear them around the house.
Overall good for them money and very versatile with the different bands and washable ear pads. Great for what I need!

Extremely Comfortable and Decent Sounding

I’m a headphone junkie. I have in-ear, over-ear and on-ear Bluetooth headphones. I have extremely expensive and not so expensive headphones, all for differing needs. When I exercise, I don’t like earbuds. Heck, I just don’t like earbuds at all. My preference is over-the-ear, but over-the-ear headphones don’t often make great exercise buddies. These new JLab Flex Sport Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones are a great option. They’re very lightweight and remarkably comfortable. They include removable tension bands for a truly customizable fit, which is unique. The ear cups are removable and washable, plus the material is moisture-wicking for you know, when you sweat as you work out. I like the design and the control buttons seem well made, with solid click actions and the LED lights when you turn them on are cool looking.
That’s the good. The measure of a headphone is after all, sound. This is where I have to give them just a, they sound decent grade. Now admittedly, I have headphones costing considerably more than these, but I also have headphones which cost much less. And to be honest, while the sound is decent, it’s not much better, in my humble opinion, than decent. When I first paired them something went amiss. They sounded tinny, muted and lacking bass. I thought perhaps it was what they call Custom EQ3, which supposedly provides three options, Signature, Balanced or Bass Boost modes. It turns out after a little research, this EQ feature can cause the sound to become muted. So I unpaired them and set them up again. Without the EQ, they sounded really good. Nice crisp highs and the bass without any equalization was more than enough to satisfy. I was able to get the EQ to work this time, but found with no EQ, they sound the best. I don’t like artificial equalization anyway, so this is not an issue for me. Next is a feature that is really great for someone who wants to wear over-the-ear headphones while running on public streets. It’s called Be Aware Audio, and a simple tap of the big button on the right ear cup lets in ambient noise (street sounds, etc) while still playing music. This is smart and really does make these a great option for running.
These are integrated to work with Siri or Google Assistant, which is nice as well. And the universal controls are well placed, easy to use and work as you would hope they work. Charging with the supplied USB C was quick and they say you get 20 hours of playtime, which in this price range is terrific.
So there you have it. These are seemingly well made, with decent sound Bluetooth headphones. The EQ feature is a waste to me, so I won’t be using it. But I did thoroughly like how lightweight and incredibly comfortable they are. These will definitely be on my head the next time I go for a run or get on the elliptical.

These are bluetooth/wireless headphones, that are easy to use and comfortable to wear. They have removable ear pads, as well as extra bands they call tension bands that can be attached to the headphones to provide a more secure fit, labeled as Flexfit and Firmfit. There is another piece that adds a pad to the inside of the band for additional comfort there. It comes with all three of those extra pieces, as well as the charging cable and a small drawstring storage bag. Pairing was easy with both the iPad and phone I linked them to, just turn them on, then hold the button on the headphones for ten seconds, and the device will recognize the headphones. It has additional features related to sound, including a button that allows for ambient noise; I didn't like that, but it would be good if someone was wearing them outdoors, and might need to hear traffic or other sounds in the area. I prefer the noise reduction option, as I was using them indoors, and wanted to just hear what was playing, but am glad to have the option if I need to hear what's happening around me in other circumstances. The sound quality is really good, and because they are bluetooth, I don't need to worry about a cord snagging on something, or whether it's long enough to have my phone in my pocket; for using with another device, it's nice not to have that tether to worry about, and the device could be placed nearby while exercising, and not held or so close to you. It's obviously designed with these 'sport' features, for people who will move around while using this item, but are comfortable for most people to wear. If you have a larger than average head, they might be too small-- I'm not sure about that as far as the length of the band, but they are very flexible and could probably accommodate most people's size and preferences easily. I would recommend these headphones.

I'm not a "Fitness" fanatic but I am loving these JLAB FLEXSPORT wireless bluetooth headphones!
First off JLAB includes two plastic inserts FlexFit which is as the name would suggest more flexible but adds a little firmness to the main loop. FirmFit is a firmer insert that really snugs the ear pieces to your head providing a more secure feeling. There is also a stretchable insert that is used to adjust fitment to your particular head size. I mostly use the Flexsport without any insert, but sometimes do use the Flexfit if I need a more secure fit.
Connecting the Flexsport via bluetooth was a breeze. I tried them with my phone, tablet and laptop with no problem what so ever. The included instructions provide all the information you need about setup and controls. The controls are very easy to feel and get used to. They do have a firm feel to them maybe a little to firm but not really an issue to me. Washable ear pads are a nice addition whether you use them for regular use or working out. And also a handy carrying pouch.
I have a set of JLAB in-ear wireless earphones and really liked them and the sound they produced but these over the ear Flexsports provide more sound then the in-ear ones. Highs and Mids are great with really good Bass. No they are not going to produce bass like a proper subwoofer but for their given size they provide ample bass response. I was surprised at how well Ambient noise On/Off effect worked. While sitting in front of a 16" standing fan on high while listening to some music I could hear the air blowing by my ears but when I turned off Ambient noise I could no longer hear the air blowing by my ears. This does not cancel out all noise around you but does a decent job at making your music the main show.
If your looking for a sport/fitness or regular use wireless headphone and prefer the over the ear type I think you should definitely checkout these JLAB FLEXSPORT they offer a variety of options to get the right fit for your needs while providing great sound performance.

These headphones are matchless! Evidently, they were designed for sports use as they come with very convenient features. For instance, you can turn the volume up/down, activate Siri or “Ok Google,” play/pause, and play following and previous tracks using only three different buttons located in one side of the device. Moreover, first-time setup is fairly simple, with only three steps and taking about ten seconds to complete; the instructions are clear and effective. The headphones also come with tension bands, a travel case, and removable ear pads for washing. I do recommend washing it before using. The headphones are also sweatproof. You can charge the headphones by connecting it to another device or plugging it to the wall. Light indicators are used to signal different actions such as Bluetooth pairing and charging. Overall, I am very pleased with this product!

These are the best headphones I've ever tried to fitness. I'm an avid fitness enthusiast and have tried dozens. These grip the head firmly without being uncomfortable or hurting the ears and offer a large amount of adjustability. They wick moisture well and don't leave sweaty patches where they sit.
The sound, however, is just so-so. The EQ settings help a bit, but it is lacking bass and has very little midrange. These also need to be louder if they are to be marketed as a fitness headphone.
The feature which lets in ambient noise works VERY well for exercising outside or traveling on foot for transportation. It will freak you out if you turn it on in the gym by accident, though.

The Jlab SportFlex headphone are possibly the best pair of Jlab headphones I've ever used. I do have few other pair to compare them to. However, they are far from ground pounding, earth shaking, brain busters. But that shouldn't be what you're for in a pair of lower budget bluetooth headphones. I was impressed by what I did get, but I do know that there are much better options available. The one thing that I really liked was the ability to remove and wash the ear cups after they get all sweaty from a workout or hard day's work/play. That, and they last for a good 20 hours. As I do, I'm placing a link to my full online review below. Feel free to go check out how I truly feel. For the price, I can recommend these. But just know that you do have options.

The ear cups fit firmly over my ears , similar to my hearing protection earmuffs. But, even with music playing you can still get a sense of space while biking, running or crossing the street. So I feel comfortable that I still may hear approaching traffic and people riding pass me on the trails.
Sounds good to my ears, easy to pair Bluetooth, type "C" charging cord, soft storage bag, three (3) head band options included with soft padding.
All in all a very nice , comfortable wireless headset. Even works with your cellphone with built in microphone, and ask google app.

I’ve been using these for almost a month and overall I like them but wish they were a little louder. The fit is great and they feel of quality. The only thing I really don’t like is when you get a phone call and answer the phone with your phone it shuts off your headphones and even after you hang up the phone you can’t power the headphones back on. You literally have to plug the headphones back into the power cord to get them back on. It’s a major headache if you don’t have your power cord on you. I ran into this last week as I just got to the gym and had to workout without headphones. Overall I like them I just with the phone issue was non existent

After reading all the 4 plus star reviews, I decided to give these a try as an alternative to in ears which I usually use. These are not worth the money even at the sale price.
The sound quality is barely passable. There is virtually no bass and the sound feels hollow and tinny. This seems impossible for 40mm drivers. There is noticeable distortion as well. They remind me of very early generation Bluetooth headsets. I wasn’t expecting audiophile quality for $80 but JLab has and certainly can do better than this. I had the UA train from JBL and while they cost more, the sound quality absolutely destroys these. I will gladly pay the extra for the improved sq.
I also discovered after buying them that they are only ipx4 certified meaning they are barely swearproof. Given the marketing materials this seems like a terrible oversight.
The only positives I can find are comfortable and fit very well for gym use.
Overall, I’d pass on these and look at the backbeat fit at the same price or jump to the UA train.

I don't, as a rule, review items purchased whether they be good or bad but I am so impressed with these headphones that it seemed only right to praise them. I love the sound quality, the length of time a battery charge provides (approximately 10 hours between charges) and the simplicity of operations. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one, is that the warning regarding battery life left is given as high, medium and low. I prefer it in percentage of remaining battery life. Not a big deal as I am extremely happy with these headphones and the price was an additional bonus. Love 'em.

I wanted to go with an Over-the-head headphone that was sweat proof unlike my Beats Studios. I gave the JLab Audio - Flex Sports a shot but after putting them on I just decided they looked a little too big for my taste. I will admit, they sounded great and liked the bass boost feature!! If you don't mind the size then I say give them a shot!

The washable pads on this headset serve my fitness needs and provide reasonable sound with some sound deadening ability. Certainly the sound quality does not approach my high end Bose with true noise canceling, but if these get misplaced or lifted I won’t be quite as upset...

These are pretty good for workouts. They don’t move around much on your head and they have a nice snug fit. For my opinion the sound is pretty weak on these. They sound pretty clear but there’s barely any bass, so if you’re a bass head definitely stay away from these
