Hence I don't use it for my day to day calls but use it when I am traveling to hear podcasts etc.

They are great if you are listening to music but they are not ideal for talking on the phone. You can hear the person you are talking to just fine. However, the person you’re talking to cannot hear you. It picks up a lot of background noise and it seems the headphones go in and out making conversations difficult and frustrating.
